Am really annoyed, last Thursday Scottish justice sectary Kenny MacAskill reaesed the Lockerbie  bomber Al-Megrahi on compassionate grounds because he is likely to die within the next 3 months form terminal prostate cancer.

I think that was the right thing to do so that’s not what got me annoyed it’s the American response that’s annoyed me. The upper echelons of the Whitehouse having a go at us Scots for displaying some compassion in letting him go home to die who are they to dictate to us how our legal system should work. Hillary Clinton telling our government what to do, then a bunch of US senators sending a letter to our government urging us not to let him go free. Well we won’t be bullied and under Scottish law we let him go home. The outcry from America was horrid I include the president  in this, “strongly objectionable” I think he said, the spokesman for the white house had some nasty words for us and the director of the FBI basically said it made Scotland a save heaven for terrorists. Might I remind you that Scots have died in the name of YOUR war on terror in Iraq and Afghanistan we have spilled our blood in the name of America and this is how we are treated when we don’t do as we’re told. Well I say on behalf of my fellow countrymen FUCK YOU AMERICA!
