One of my favorite memories as a kid was visiting the different carousel horses to ride on. Carousels are another popular Cape Cod activity. One historical carousel that I always loved is at the Heritage Museum and Gardens.

Often times they run a marvelous deal where you can get a night for just one cent (seriously!). Besides that my husband and I did a lot of research and found Bayside to be very affordable and exactly what we wanted. At least when we vacation in Cape Cod now I can sneak away at the resort for some time to myself. Hubby doesn't mind because he loves to golf and the kids are having a blast at the pool!
