I've always HATED people who starts their sentence with "it's the alcohol that made me..." It's irritating BUT CAN IT REALLY BE TRUE!?
I think - a twentytwoyearold'spointofview - people drink to release themselves from the stress and the repressive cuffs they make themselves wear everyday. They drink because alcohol releases the said cuffs and empowers the individual to his/her most uninhibited.
In reaction to this release, individual is overcome with a certain unreal strength that is bordering on appalling.. or outrageousness.
Personally, I find it a relief. It's fun to drink. BUT it will never be one of my excuses for things said or done. I don't have much vacancy up there in my head unlike people who pleads that they were drunk when they hit their wives/children, or kill/rape/murder somebody else. PBTHHHHH.
what's the most audacious thing YOU did that made you used that line?
