Oh gosh, I'm getting so excited just like days before Christmas when you're a kid!
I've always wanted one well, two actually as they are not solitary creatures so having one on its own is very unfare. I knew that I wanted two boys as the girls can have more health problems.
Today, we went to focus and bought a few metres of cable ducting. I sat on the floor diligently putting the cables behind the TV into foot long sections that hubby had cut. It had to be done this way to enable some flexibility of the cables. Tomorrow I will do the same behind the sofa with the telephone, answerphone and laptop cables and the extension lead itself. I will also ensure that there is nothing on the floor that can easily be pulled onto some poor unsuspecting, inquisative little creature.
This Friday we go to Skegness to pick up the cage we have already selected. It is called a 'Reno' and is said to be most perfect for the boys. Just typing those words 'the boys' I am grinning. We will ensure the bedding, nest box, wood shavings, litter tray and water bottle are all set up ready for their home-coming on Monday. I would ideally like to collect them Saturday but I will be going to the local Munch in the afternoon followed by a Biker Night in Skegness.
Monday we go to collect the boys. We have not yet decided on colour so long as I can tell them apart ha ha! I'm still thinking of names for them but their own colouring or character may help us with that little dilemma.
So, on Friday 14th when my sister comes up to see me with the twins, I will be able to introduce them to my darling little baby boys. My darling little rats.
