i had been reading and replying to some posts here that picked my curiosity... and i noticed that some are filipinos like me... i wonder how many soulcast members are my "kababayan"?
would love to know who among you are filipinos like me... dare to be identified? then make your presence felt!

i was surprised to read that you are not filipino... i was also wondering how come you translate afraid to takod in tagalog... then i read in sigroid75's blog that you are malaysian who loves filipinas... hahaha that was funny...
anyway, if you are afraid you should write "takot ako" instead of "takod ako"... :-)
and did you know that your handle susmaryosep came from the names jesus, mary and joseph? ...and "hilaw" in slang as mr_right uses it means "not really but almost" or when he says "hilaw na pinoy" he means "almost like a filipino" or something like that...
what other tagalog words do you know? maybe we could widen your vocabulary so that later on we can make it a habit to talk in tagalog... wanna try? what do you think mr_right?

(and too expensive the trip) but when you all do finally meet,
have one for me...hehehehe....I was born in Cuba but grew up in different places as my dad was with a Co. that moved us around every 3 to 5yrs.
The traditional drink (one of them) is called " Mojito " which is rum, sugar, mint leaves and crushed Ice.
Another is the popular " Rum and Coke " which as the name implies has rum and coke and I like mine with a twist of lime or lemon in it.

Wish I'll have the time for nightouts this coming October.
It's the start of the last quarter and would probably be a rush month.
I hope there'll be no customer complaints and any problems in my office.
If that so, I'll spend my nights more often at the office and performing the failure analysis.
Gonna wish my staff to have at least be cooperative.
It's getting hard to manage those departments and the people, *sigh*.
What do you prefer? Whiskey? Rum?

Susmaryosep: I have no doubt I would, but these days I don't travel much. Oh yes, and I terrible with languages, always have been. I've tried to learn 4 languages besides english and never was able to remember more than a few words of any, so that can be a problem traveling :) It's always nice to be able to say a few things and be understood, like asking where I can get a meal or where the nearest hotel is, or where the washroom is :D
I do enjoy people though and I've seen a lot of pictures of the Philippines and so I know it's beautiful and if the people there are like my fillipino neighbors then I know for sure I'd enjoy being there.
