The page you were looking for no longer exists

If you were say, "cloned" and both of yourselves were in the same room, say your own living room.. do you think you'd be a good conversationalist?  Would it be easy for you to strike up a conversation with "you"?
How do you see yourself when you think of interacting with other people.  Not so much people you know or aquainted with, but even a stranger you meet at a party or out?

I, myself, am not a big talker.. not until I really know the person well.  I can talk small talk, but the other person would have to carry the brunt of the conversation.

I guess I am more of a listener than a talker... how bout you?  Are you more apt to listen or talk someones ear off?

Hi Quiet, scoot over a little, I'll carry the conversation as long as you jump in once in awhile.

Well it would probably start slow, and awkward.  Then when I realized how awkward I was, I'd start rambling.  So at first there wouldn't be many words and then both of 'me' would be rambling so much so that the other one seemingly couldn't get a word in.  Then we'd realize we were rambling and go silent.  Lol.

I think we'd have lots to talk about but we might keep interupting each other!! Interesting idea Quiet. With other people, I think I am a good listener and a big talker. Where do you come up with this stuff??? Do you lie awake at night thinking of strange things?? Hugs, woman

I think I'd definately have a conversation with myself.  I do already without the second actual body ;)

I have better talking skills than listening skills, but I can and will do both.  I used to be much more shy, not speaking to someone unless they spoke to me first.  Then somewhere along the line it occurred to me that because I sometimes wished someone had spoken to me that perhaps I'd better step up to the plate and make the first move in a conversation since they might feel the same way.

mobil ~ I have scooted over, now sit down and tell me all about it, I am listening.  :)

Hege ~ LOL that sounds like me! haha

woman ~ I come up with the things as I talk to myself during the time I am at home alone with the other side of me... the best part of this is, "I" never lose in a coversation that way with myself! haha

uni ~ yes, I have been thinking about the same thing.  I wonder how others might not say hello or start a conversation.  Maybe they are shy as I "was". Now I just think they don't like me.  haha. But, I've learned to at least say hi and smile anyway!  thanks

Well, at least you'd have someone who sees eye to eye with you in all things, no?

    That'd be a first for me.  :D

Are you kidding?  Me and my other personality would talk the paint off the walls.  Finally, someone willing to listen to me and all my insane ramblings!  Ha...

You know how I was when we met in person.  I yaked your ear off because I was nervous.  I tried to say everything at once, I guess.

With strangers, I try to do that, too, but mostly end up just getting an interesting tid bit in here and there, unless they ask a question.  I do try (usually) to let the other person talk all they want.  I'm just sorry I probably didn't let you.  Maybe next time I will shut up and do some listening.  If not, just swat me on the arm!

I'm great at making small talk at work, but I feel awkward at parties (like there is something I should be doing, but I'm not certain what that is). I try to be a good listener because I know how good it feels to vent and I figure others could benefit from doing the same.

well doesn't this beat all?  I did, I swear I did comment to the rest of you and SC must have ate it!!! geez!  Or, maybe my "other" self didn't like what I wrote! ha

    anyway.....

grape ~ yup eye to eye.. every morning in the mirror!  LOL

wombie ~ I like our chats whether they are all one sided or not.  It could have been worse that we both rambled on and on and neither one of us listened to the other... LOL  the next one will be so much better!

Jade ~ I really am similar too.  I fee  like that.

kitty ~ well one thing about brawling with yourself... one of you never will lose!

queenie ~ I talk a lot to myself and can at times talk a lot to others if I have been around them often enough!
