While “race” is a crude term meaning little more in stark reality than
a difference in pigmentation, face shapes, general size and hair type,
those are the subtle distinctions leading to a major evolutionary jump.
The black race dominated the mix 90,000 years ago, in an Africa where
early homo sapiens had undergone several experiments with skin, noses,
eyes, skulls, muscles and proportions. Pigmentation in early humanity,
dating back 100,000 years, included green and blue hues. Naked skin
was an experiment in sensitivity requiring adjustments and layering.
The sun and atmospheric conditions prevailing then effected early
emergence from predecessory beings.
70,000 years ago:
Adventurous, bold and desperate blacks, the first truly conscious beings
surviving into the modern age, were pushed, compelled and convinced
to explore northward along the Eternal Coast into India, where climate
and environment performed subtle transformations, and into the deep
regions of the Middle East and Southeastern Europe, relentlessly
moving Eastward to seek the place where the Sun is born each day.
And to distance themselves from the deepest, darkest night of the Sun’s
glorious death every dusk.
50,000 years ago:
From these primary blacks grew the adaptive yellow and brown races
of the North (Oriental) and the South (Indian), both of straight, black
hair, but distinguished by head and size and relevance to light. Their
sons and daughters doubled back toward Africa in many generations,
created a Mediterranean brew giving birth to early forms of civil
interaction.
This racial soup, now realizing the endless horizon, the eternity of
Sunrise, the inevitability of Nightfall, the recurrence of Seasons and
the uncertainty of Death, explored the cold North regions.
30,000 years ago:
Northward they ventured, perished, revived and renewed their efforts,
needing more transparency for the weaker, shorter Sunlight. Lighter
they became, longer grew their noses, slower pumped their blood to
accommodate ever colder climates.
Completely Occidental and white, those Northern Europeans chose
once more to seek out the Sun, the nesting waters or world where
each new day began. And never was it found. Even as the waters
and islands grew ever smaller and shorter between, forming a bare
bridge of land and sea, only more land was to be found.
More and more, a greater land, a world of monsters and ever more
Eastern horizons, but unexplored Southern Ways as well. What was
this strange South Way? Was it the Africa often told tales of? Was
it some new world no one had yet known?
10,000 years ago:
And their skins grew darker once more, their faces broader, as the
warmth, heat and light of the Sun grew stronger. And the reds
grew as one with their new world.
Today:
Large numbers of these races still survive, and ever newer versions
grow possible from their increased intermixing. Environmental
interchange at relatively instant rates has trumped genetic adaptation
for the moment.
A surprising result my spring forth…!
