  Well, we're on week 10.5 and she's still "all day sick" (morning sickness?) and we went through preggie pops, ginger candy, McDonald's, Jack-in-the-Box, and so far nothing is staying down and she's miserable. When week 13 gets here, I'm putting her on long-term disability and rushing her to the ER. I can't take this shit much longer.
  
  So far, the espresso is brewing! The wife is constantly drinking cold water and sitting beside an oscillating fan with the air conditioner set to -30 below. I warned her many moons ago that she'd be harboring the "lite" version of a human electric blanket!

What are you worried about they only do whats right for the people Java.  Hopefuly the missus will find the all day morning sickness will subside all of a sudden come week 12. It did for us.   SB - I just wish people would quit throwing stones across the pond. I don't even understand why the American health care system is an issue with citizens of other countries. We don't want what they're selling. I'd rather have headaches over politics than over my wife, that's for sure!
  
  Hege - I've demolished most of the kitchen and it looks like I have cemented my role as both the hunter (food runs) and gatherer (grocery shopping, etc). I'm building my own wet wall (see relatives who can kiss my ass) and it looks like I'll not only be doing my own plumbing, but my own electrical, insulating, drywalling (8x4 sheets aren't that heavy, right?), spackling, priming, painting and trim work. Yep, I'm certainly a marytr, but my long-suffering probably isn't unique...
  
  Speaking of -- Let me complain about my health care and the politicians who are doing their best to destroy it. I don't need a goanna humper to keep trying to convince me that ramming socialism down my country's throat is a wonderful idea!

  Java-I can't imagine what they are thinking.  Out of all the ideas to come up with to fix problems in an all ready functioning healthcare system.  One would think the socialist utopia these people preach would have popped up somewhere around the world.

  SMB ~ I don't know anything about whats going on with the health system in the US, I won't even comment on that.  There is a point though thats worth thinking on, if you have a democratic system why fuck with it by shoving in a little socialism... it won't work.

  Yes, please! The American system does not need to be fucked with and nor does it require socialism to get it back into shape. I agree, I know nothing about Australia. Don't really care to, either. So what is making these Australians self-proclaimed experts on America? They should stick to their side of the pond! The US health care system does need to be overhauled, nor does it need to be socialized.
