The page you were looking for no longer exists

hat,camo loom,camo,loom,knitted,handmade

You might recognize the model.  :-)

I tried something a little different this time.  I posted three photos of the hat.  Two being modeled and one of it displayed like I've done the others.

Let me tell you, that model is very demanding and hard to put up with. ;-D

Anyway, I will see if this brings a faster sale.

Thanks for looking.

    uni,
Thank you. She expected lunch and a Diet Dew after that little bit of work.  Good help is hard to find.  :-)

    Mimi,
Thanks.  She costs me a fortune in lip gloss!

Oh I like that one.  Love the little brim, or ... whatever you call that, lol.  And yeah, well it's tough to find high quality models like that nowadays, you should feel lucky. :-D  Te he he.
  • quietone said on Jul 29, 2009....
ah, you have more energy than I could gather up in a week.  Its a good thing cause that model looks like she could run you ragged!!! those looms are fun aren't they?  I haven't used mine in ages though ~  good job!

Nice work!  This one would look so good with a dark coat and a green scarf.  I wish I had your talent and patience!
  • CreativeWoman said on Jul 29, 2009....
    Hege,
I'm glad you like it.  That model is tough on me that's for sure.  Now she's got these high falutin' ideas about shopping for more yarn.  I tell ya!

    quietone,
I figure if I keep my hands busy, they'll be out of the cookie jar.  lol.  That model is a hard one to please.  She's begging me for more work.  I don't know if I can afford her!

I do love my looms.  They are so fun once you figure them out.    They are easy enough that what I make doesn't look half bad.  lol

    wombat,
Thank you. That combination would look great together.  :-)  I'm having fun with it.

i see you've been hiring the skanky models again? ;)

just gorgeous! and the hat is pretty suhweet too! those colors look great on you..how do you stick your plan to sell it when it's something that you like or really looks great on you???

  • CreativeWoman said on Jul 29, 2009....
    fraggles,
Yeah, she might be questionable taste to represent my products.  lol

Thank you for the compliments all the way around.  Camo isn't really my thing, but if you say I can work it....hmmm.  :-)  I would rather have the green backs than the hat.  Then I can make me a purse to carry my heavy wallet.  :-D

Nice work CW.  I'm trying my hand at tie-dying t-shirts lately and I'm starting to like it. I'm doing the simple stuff for now but I plan to get more creative as time goes on.

I recognise that photo - that's the one just before the model threw her mobile phone at the cameraman then she stormed off in a hissy fit hee hee!

I love the colours on this one.  I've always those style hats too - i'd certainly buy one.

If you could knit something like that with a little bill on it like the ones they wore in Fiddler On The Roof, you could probably sell a million.

I figure that style is going to make a comeback now that America is going communist. I have been trying to figure out a way to capitalize on our trend towards socialism / communism, but the government probably has a lock on most of that stuff (like soup kitchens and police dogs).

That's a really nice hat CW. I wish I could knit.

    Rc,
Thank you. I have a friend who really loves tie dye.  Are you going to be selling your shirts?

    pusscat,
Yes, she is a temperamental one. :-)  I'm glad you like the hat so well.

    ALIEN,
I have a pattern to make one with a bill, but I haven't tried it.  I remember Fiddler On The Roof.  :-)

I have faith that America will bounce back eventually. The wheels of change are slowing a bit and that will slow this push we've seen to make things happen too quickly.  That's my perspective of it, anyway.

    Psych,
Thank you.  The looms are fairly easy once you figure them out.

Well....right now it's only the beginning of a hobby but that's not a bad idea.  I really don't even know how I'm going to go about it but yeah, that's a thought.

    Rc,
If you do decide to sell them, please let me know.  It would be a fun gift for my friend.  :-)  She's crazy for tie dye.  I'm even on a hunt for tie dye yarn to make her a hat.

Today or tomorrow I'll take pics of the tie dye and give you an idea of what I've been doing.  It's a fun project/hobby for me and that's all it is for now but I'll be glad to make one for you if you want....the material is not expensive and for a few bucks more you can make it look alive in the colors but I'm not there yet.  I can give you the info if you like.  For instance, a double ply T-shirt will take color more vividly (in my limited experience) than the regular T-shirt that you buy at K-mart or similar store.
You can find double-ply T-shirts on the web easily enough.  I guess what I like about this is that I get to wear my own stuff knowing that it's a one of a kind.    :^)

The surplus that I don't like (or whatever) I can donate to the homeless or something.

PM me if you want   :^)   Rc
