I get up this morning and turn on the tv to watch the morning news.  That's my way of waking up before getting ready for work.  I love the news! 

My electricity goes out.  So I shower and get dressed in the dark (I hope my clothes match).  I gather my make-up and hair accessories and off to work I go.  I get to work 20 minutes early and everyone is already there!  Really, who gets to work 20 minutes early when they don't have to?  Does this happen everyday?  It makes me wonder what goes on when I'm not there, so much I don't know about these folks! 

Anyway, I walk through the door, no make-up and crazy hair, there are my co-workers staring strangely at me.  Do they know it me?  I barely speak hello and head straight for the bathroom.  I emerge feeling like a different person 15 minutes later.  Even my boss says, "I didn't know you were here."  I didn't know I looked that different. 

I explain my lights are out.  This happens about once a week, but it usually doesn't last but for a couple of minutes.  For some reason it makes me feel strange like they may think I'm homeless or can't pay my bills so my electricity gets disconnected.  I don't know, I'm just weird sometimes and I have weird thoughts that go along with being weird.

The day will get better, I'm sure of it!
