Interesting to see this place hasn't changed much since the last time I came on. My blog is still here, with a big mass of old entries. Now that I'm on vacations from Med school, maybe I should write a thing or two.

Much has happened since I left here. I graduated high school, for one. Being the valedictorian was fun. I also travelled twice outside the country: I went to the Dominican Republic just before graduating to represent my country in a spelling contest (SO EASY to win nationals). I ended up second place, but out of regionals, nationals and international, I got a couple of computers, money, an iPod and a free trip to another country! Isn't that nice...

My other trip was to New York City, baby! I loved it so much; two weeks is not enough to seeing every little bit of that magical place. I wan to go back, but I guess I should go to Europe first. I was in love with everything there; I became obssessed with studying at Cornell. Too bad I'm not that rich; guess I'll have to aspire to a residency if I ever want to live over there. I loved the snow, shopping in NJ malls, making a one-day trip to DC. AMAZING!

Well, in 2008 I got admitted to Medicine school. There's no Pre med degree in my schooling system, so I entered right after graduating high school. I entered first! It's the most demanding Medicine program here (not many offer Medicine, it's strictly controlled); I've struggled to stay on top, and I've succeeded so far. It's been a rough three semesters; now I go on to the good stuff: Anatomy, Biochemistry, Embriology... On my way to becoming MD =)

Enough chit-chat. I'll see what I can find in this new SC. I noticed there are many new bloggers (of course), so I'm sure I'll be reading nice pieces. But before that, I'll go read some José Saramago; gotta catch up with the ever-growing stack of books!
