The page you were looking for no longer exists

I'm sorry for the long disappearance and the lack of posts, but I am finally back. Life has been pulling me in a million different directions lately, and things are not going to be back to normal for a long time. The fact of the matter is that my father passed a little over a month ago, and I am still dealing with him not being here.

In fact, I went back to my hometown this weekend to search for wedding dresses, and it seems so odd not having my dad around. Basically, it has just been one thing after another. I drove way out of town with my fiance for the past two weekends, and he told me I should go for a girls' weekend out, that I need it. I have been so exhausted, but the getaway is helping me to catch up on some much needed rest and girl talk.

It turns out that my mom is doing exceptionally well on her own with my sister. In fact, I've noticed that our relationship has actually gotten better since I got out on my own.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I'm back, and I will try to post more often from now on.

Forgive me for being lazy and forgetful but wasn't it you who posted about your relationship with your mother getting kind of bad while your father was in hospital?

In any case, I am glad to know the trip helped a bit and that things are warming up with your mother. I hope things will be moving in a possitive direction for you from here on.

I am glad to see you are back--and also that things seem to be better with your mother.

Are you going to have a big wedding?

Yes, things have gotten a lot better since I moved out, though I do get the occasional guilt trip over the phone. It feels great to have my independence!

    Jade:

We started out with the idea that we would have a small intimate wedding, but as we continued with the planning, we realized that we had more guests and would need to have a larger wedding. So as it stands now, we will have roughly 80 to 100 guests.

I guess you'd consider that a big wedding! hehe

Yes, my relationship with my mother suffered while my dad was in the hospital, but after I moved out, things got a lot better, and I am very thankful for that!

    Hey!!!

    Welcome back!!!

I just got back here myself after few weeks of being gone.

Where's our parade? No ticker tape? No balloons?

Well, you've got another party coming up(your wedding?), so I guess it's okay that we didn't get a parade.

    Looking forward to your posts,

    Grape.

Good to see you again starlight.

My relationship with my mother was never good while i lived home. The minute I moved out, we became the best of friends. Go figure! Just enjoy it, and have fun making the wedding plans.

That is exactly what happened to me. My relationship with my mom has really improved. It seems that we have become the best of friends now, too.

Thanks for the welcome back. Things in my life have been spinning lately. Yesterday, I got lost in a totally different part of my new state. It was funny, but it's definitely something we can look back on and laugh. = )

I demand to know how it got here so fast, lol....
What is the cure for a loss of appetite? Recently, I cannot seem to eat much food, nor do I have the desire to eat. I am not sure why exactly, but I have experienced this in the past and have no idea how I got back to eating....
