since he told me,...things have been weird and strained with us,...a relationship state i'm more than familiar with

but i'm done loosein sleep over it,....we'll cycle back,...or ,....we wont

sometimes i think i leave too much to fate

in other news,.....i've been a hermit for the past week or so, spendin most of my time in the bar, or on the dirt road,.....two places that always make me feel home,.....
i'm commin out of it though

blair and i are takein a road trip in a coupla weeks,...and i've already started makeing the playlist

first stop is houston, at here momma's,....ms karen married an oil man, a houston oil man, and all that goes with it,....while they are in dubi we're gonna run down there, feed the cats, drink her booze and lay in her pool, before we get up and embark on our hill country holiday

aaron watson is also playin over in spring so i'm thinkin we should run over there after we make a quick stop at her momma's

blair is ever the proud texan i am,....but through her shealtered up bringing, she's never seen the texas i know,.....so i'm gonna show it too her,....

i'm thinkin 1100 springs at gruene hall,.....she needs alittle texas swing in her life, and it will be good to see matt the catt again,.....i'd like to float the river the day of, that way we are in full party mode by the time we hit texas' oldest, and unairconditioned dance hall,.....
it will feel good to have that old warped wood dance floor under my bare feet once again,.....

we'll stay the night in some no name motel,....hopefully one near the river so i can get up and fish alittle before i take her to luckenbach

she's never even been to luckenbach,.....i just dont understand how you can live here and never see all the old haunts of those texans that came before us,......walt wilkins will be there sunday and i think that will be the perfect introduction,....i've already warned her about the chickens in the trees, and danny terry,.....crazy old man that he is,....

i've recently gotten her to start listenin to alot of texas music, so this is kinda her live show introduction weekend,...

delbert mcclinton is in town and i'd like to run over and see him, even if its just for baby's got her blue jeans on,...

there is also the option of seein jimmie vaughn at antones in austin,....but she doesnt know who that is, so i'm not sure if it would be right for me to just drag her,.......though, its blues,....who doesnt like blues if there's enough beer to be drank

i'd also like to take her to bandera, to the old dance all over there,.........there's a spot in the floor that is so low it hold water,....BUT she still has too see it,...

so much to see,...so much to show her,......i've got alot to cram in three days,....and i wanna fish,......but i figure who needs sleep anyway, i just need to the hotel room for the shower and to fix my hair
