This whole summer's been unseasonably cool.
In fact, us oldtimers were saying that this was the coolest summer ever.
I had spoken to a friend of mine whom I hadn't spoken to in quite some time.
I quietly disapprove of his lifestyle, which is the reason why our communications dried up.
Regardless, I was glad to hear from him yesterday, as it had been a while.
He was at a mutual friend's house nearby and he wanted to know if I wanted to stop by.
This mutual friend was another guy that I hadn't seen in a long time.
Even longer than my other friend.
I lost touch with him because we're both lazy people.
One could say that we're too busy with our own lives, I guess.
It's not just that...
I was more friends with his younger brother.
It had been a while since I had seen either of these fellas, so I agreed to meet them at my buddy's new place.
He had just bought a house not too far from my house, actually.
So I made the drive over there, parked on the street in front of his house.
That's when I saw her.
She was lying on the grass in between my two friends, who sat on the lawn talking.
I approached them, exchanged greetings, and was introduced to her.
Her name was Shiloh.
She had beautiful eyes, and an infectious smile.
I couldn't help but smile widely as she took an immediate interest in me.
I stood there grinning the biggest fool's grin there ever was.
I never thought I'd be into "that type", but here I was trying to imagine a situation of being with someone like her.
It was just an idle fantasy, but still...
Life sure has a way of throwing you a curve ball once in a while, don't you think?
I took a couple of pictures of her in case you wanted to see.
scroll down.
keep going...
just a little more...

There... Isn't she just precious? She's slightly overweight at 8 pounds, but I think she's just adorable!!! The second picture I took so that you could see how big she was in relation to the car.
My friend has three others about that size. One of them is a Chihuahua/Pocket Pomeranian mix named Peanut that only weighs 6 pounds. He was on a road trip so I couldn't take a picture of him yesterday, but I will next time I get a chance.
I had never been into small dogs before, but I gotta admit, those little buggers are awfully cute. My friend also pointed out that no matter what kind of a mess the dog makes, you can usually clean it up with a single square of paper towel. He also said that having four of these little dogs are like having one medium sized dog, pretty much.
There I said it. That was my confession. I like teeny dogs. Maybe one day I'll even get one. Though for now, they only reside in the realm of fantasy.
I don't know what it says about a man. I just know that I like them now. I'm perfectly comfortable in my sexuality to like teeny dogs if I want to. :P
I hope you don't think any less of me because of this, because that would be most unfair.
Well, it's out there now.
I await your judgment.
As always, thanks for the visit.
Grape.
P.S.
Amore: Please don't tell Romeo about this. Let him know that he's always been, and always will be my Il Duce, mio numero uno. :D
