We started the day in the pool. Þór just wanted to be in the side. It is cheap to go swimming there and every thing is very sadifactory. We has slept well but the people who came to the camping place were still loud at half past five. I used ear plugs. Pálmi was taking the camper down while we were there .
After the swim we had hot dogs and sodas outside. It was half past 1 and I said to the kids I wonder what grand pa says. The weather was ever so good. We simply stayed very long
We set off for Mývant when we came back. Þór was singing in the car and I love to listen to him.
We stopped at Goðafoss. In this waterfall in the year 1000, a man who decided for us that we should take Christianity to keep peace in the country threw his likenesses of heathen gods.
The children liked the waterfall but still better they liked to play there in small puddles near by.
We had sandwiches there with salmon and they were very expensive I found.
At 8 we came to Mývant. It was warm and no wind. 20C. Þór went strait to the water hose.
I started loading my batteries. There were only two sockets in the little hut we used. A Geman woman was using one and had pulled something out of a socket. She advised that I do the same. I said I would wait.
Later I could load my camera . Now I was not afraid to leave it just there. But once when I looked in a woman who spoke native English, I don't know what accent she had, had pulled my camera out of the socket.
I first asked who had done this. She said that she had and that she wanted to load her batteries while she took a shower. I noticed that she was using both socket and mentioned it. I also told her I was waiting for my camera. She took out her battery but you could see that she was not happy.
After that I had my peace with my camera there.
The children were ever so happy at this place and so were we. We eat out side and the children played.
In the evening we went for a walk. There was a barn dance in the neigbourhood and we just looked . The midnight sun shone and we went to sleep.
