  Got me too. I didn't think to block, just deleted. If I get another one, I'll block. I've noticed some of his comments on others' posts on my reading rounds; not all spam exactly but usually off-topic and/or trying to turn the discussion around on himself. Definitely an etiquette problem.
  
  If we're lucky, we've just caught a net newb and he will figure it out eventually, but I'm afraid that's a rare thing.

  I didn't really take much notice at first when he left spam on one of mine, then I saw the same comments elsewhere, re-read his last blog and thought Mr right definately aint right! scarry stuff, he'll be boiling bunnies in kitchen saucepans soon, mr fatal attraction.
  If I hadn't seen your blogg I wouldn't have realised the extent of the problem.

  Yes, Sus, dozens of blogs. Every blog that was on the front page of the featured posts in a period of 36 hours was spammed. It wasn't just one or two--it was dozens of blogs...almost all the popular users and any popular post that day.
  
  It was was juvenilre and moronic. And SW is not wrong in his zero tolerance in this case.

  Just a word.. Soulcast is built through relationships, and maybe even lasting friendships, and with relating, giving a reason for blocking a guy, is NOT unreasonable isn't it?   annette: he went positively spastic a few weeks ago and spammed a love letter to sigroid across dozens of blog entries. sigroid's a perfectly nice person, but she's also not a complete fruit loop, so his little act of e-vandalism did nothing but make a few of us block him. of him there's nothing else to say. he tried to apologize but he was just upset at having been caught, not that he understood he did anything wrong.
  
  IOW: not someone i wanna waste my time with.
  
  re: adsense, dunno. i haven't checked my adsense status in a long time, now, actually. but last i checked, i wasn't due to earn anything for quite some time yet. i can't imagine that's changed.
