6-week-old Daisy Mae and me, with my bald head cut out of the picture!

I was feeling pretty crappy that day but my husband knew just what to do! He brought home Daisy and I cheered up from there! Hope you enjoy!

What a sweetie.  Hope this little pup brings you much love and joy.  I went back and read a little, although I have to confess I am sort of bad about keeping up, but I do know what you are struggling with.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Aaw - that is one ve-e-e-e-ery cute little addition.  Your hubby is a good, thoughtful man.  Hope it cheered you up too :-)

He definitely cheered me up. I got my scans back that day, and the cancer isn't shrinking. This was just the dose of medicine I needed :-)

Hope I am allowed to say this on your post cos I remember thinking this so very loud in my head about our Donna (my only sister) and not getting the opportunity to say it (I will not be offended in any way if you delete the swear words and copy and paste or whatever):

BOLLOCKS!!!   BOLLOCKS!!!   BOLLOCKS!!!   BOLLOCKS!!!   BOLLOCKS!!!   BOLLOCKS!!!   BOLLOCKS!!!   BOLLOCKS!!!

Well, got that out of my system for sure ;-)

My mum and dad had cancer.  Only and fave uncle, 2 aunts too.  Sister had breast cancer 3 years ago, and bloody well beat it YAAAAAY!!!! She has secondary cancer now in her lungs but that don't mean everyone gets that.  I am not saying that for the "OMG factor" but to let you know that, if you were to want to private message (PM) me, then I really do know what you're on about hun.

Looking at your pic with your gorgeous little studs (love the one in your lower lip!) you strike me as someone that aint no wall-flower and you like to have a laugh??!  Here's a good one.  I was at my dad's funeral do in '93 at a club that our family has always used for all weddings, funerals, christenings and birthdays.  Thing is, the emphasis is on funerals.  11 of them.  I'd been outside for a 'smoke' with my cousin Carol and, as I walked through the corridor, my cousin's dad, our Pete, said to me, "aint it amazing how many extra people you can get in here without a coffin?".  Ha ha ha!!  sorry, but I nearly pissed myself laughing!!  Pete had only buried his mum, my aunt, 3 weeks before but our sense of humour is second to none.  If you'd have seen the faces of the average drinker giving our Pete the evil eye thinking he was bonkers ha ha!!

Take care of you and little furry paws :-))

pussycat- I'm not offended, and isn't that the purpose of  blog anyway? To share raw, unedited emotion? ;-) don't worry about it. Thanks for sharing something so personal. I will certainly take into consideration the PM when I really need someone to talk to. Thanks for being there. I'm sorry you've had the big "C" get so many people in your life.
