I don't adsense makes any money on here. But it appears to make a little on my website http://www.mike10613.talktalk.net I updated it tonight. I only wanted to put a little mistake right. Then decided to add a picture to make it more interesting. I had a note from the parish church asking for money and reminding me it was a 1000 years old. Just down the road is a pub that was used by the infamous Highwayman Dick Turpin. They used to have a workshop at the back making gun parts. most pubs had workshops at the back and breweries in those days. easy money from the beer paid for the Industrial revolution to get started. Anyway, I had a picture of the pub, The Olde Leathern bottle, formally the "sign of ye bottel". So I put that on my local page and mentioned the church.. I uploaded the website and I'd missed a 0 of the 1000 year old church - had to do another upload. But one click on an adsense advert made me some money about $1.50. So I went to adsense and tried to configure it so I could see what ads are effective and what isn't. I'm not that bothered, just curious. I think it was the advert for the Madonna concert that made the money. I'm now monitoring the Madonna page - to see how well it does.

I'm in bed. Eating herbal flavoured sweets (candy) made to a recipe that is nearly 200 years old. I'm in to history tonight. We have a museum not too far away. Not a dusty boring place. the Black Country museum is a living museum - it has a working pub, trams and narrow boats. They take down old buildings and rebuild them brick by brick at the museum site. I saw a adsense advert on here the other night and I went to it - it was a local evangelical church! I tried to leave a message in the guest book. First it said my message was unsuitable! i think it was because I mentioned the word black. This is the Black Country! I did use a capital B - I'm careful about such things. Writing about things you have to be. For example - helping Jack off a horse - has a whole different meaning to some people if you don't capitalise. Anyway, they finally said come back later - so I didn't....

I have a plan to use the money I make on adsense - if I ever get to the magic $100 to buy advertising and start a new website. I want one for people who are like me - just fascinated by running one. There is a lot I can't do at the moment. I need FrontPage extensions on the server. or use another web design program. I tried a different one today. It was so complicated and slow. But I could put video on. I suppose that would be cool. I tried the Yahoo web site designer. that was good - I could do video with that. But I had to use it with Yahoo space! A lot more expensive than I'll be paying. In fact, i hope to buy some basic space then use advertising to sort of barter for more next year. I don't really want to do it now. i have to pay 12 months in advance and this isn't a good time. I just got done for my car insurance, tax is next month and then it will be safety tested in November - who knows what that will cost. The past two years it passed great - but my luck will run out eventually.

Talking about luck, I forgot my Lottery. They sent me an email to remind me. I buy "tickets" online for 8 weeks. Strange, they usually email me a verification - I haven't had that. i hope my ISP isn't filtering my email again. It filters the wrong stuff. It would be typical of them to filter out my winning Lottery ticket! I do shopping online, chat online, do my lottery online, do my banking online. I'm thinking of doing a shop at the supermarket online and letting them deliver. That is more difficult. I mainly want fresh things and you can't store those. I've tried storing things. It's OK for cleaning products and even some frozen food. But I ate some new potatoes from a can today that were 2 years old! I played roulette for fun online again the other day. I nearly played for real. Then a losing streak brought me to my senses.

I want to go to sleep in a good frame of mind tonight. I keep waking up feeling unwell. i woke up last night - I won't describe the nightmare - but it explained why I didn't feel good. I've had a shower and a drop of scotch to relax me. Now I smell nice and I'm trying to think pleasant thoughts. I watched Julia Roberts in Notting Hill the other night. Pleasant thoughts to me is beautiful women. When I say beautiful - I tend to mean their personality. Julia Roberts wasn't the most attractive woman in that movie - I liked the one in the wheelchair - don't know who she was - but nice.

I saw a picture of a young "babe" in a mini skirt on the net the other night. She wanted a guy, aged 30 to 75 to dominate her! I looked it up. Apparently it makes some women feel secure, a little like giving a child rules to follow. I'd be good at that. I can be gentle, but I can be assertive; but not aggressive and never violent. Not towards women anyway, I'm English. I'm trying to think of a famous woman now that I might be attracted to. Not many! I like Meg Ryan usually in movies. She usually plays a nice character but in real life she's probably a rich bitch. Maybe not? Money doesn't corrupt everyone, just 99%! lol Power corrupts more. I love the way George W Bush does his "power walk" - he looks like he's had an embarassing accident.

Think of something pleasant - stop the nightmares! A 15 year old girl in China send me a lot of e-cards to open each day - while she is away at school. She starts studying at 6am in the morning until noon, then a few hours in the afternoon and again in the evening. For her glorious future! I sent her an MP3 player - she was thrilled. She will probably be the coolest kid in school. She sends me e-cards and traditional Chinese music and I send her Britney spears singing "I love rock 'n' roll. The Chinese government thinks Western music corrupts the young. I've heard that before somewhere. I had an email from a teacher in India asking if I knew how she could make extra money on the Internet. I get emails from teachers a lot. I've known a teacher in the USA, Turkey, South Africa, Russia and now India.

I've decided on music to help me relax. I've started with Badly drawn boy - it's from a movie. if the movie is as good as the music - it will be good. The late night movie on TV is Clockwork Orange, now that would give me nightmares. But the music is good. Especially Beethoven. A lot of the music for that movie was done on a synthesiser way back in the 70's. The movie was banned in the UK until recently. I also have Vanilla Ninja on this play list, they are a babe band from Latvia. Vanilla, apparently means something else apart from a flavour of ice cream. It means sort of normal or straight, sexually, apparently. I wonder what Wikipedia says about Ninja?

I couldn't resist, Wikipedia describes the female Ninja's as sort of Femme fatales. Female spies and assasins that use their sexuality to entrap their victims. So a babe band that is straight, femme fatales - yes, I can believe that from the pictures. They are good and sing good in English. Three of them are blondes and then the dark haired sexy Maarja. I could easily start a UK, Maarja fan club... I think she was the one that left the band and then went back and they reformed and are trying to make a comeback. I think she had her hair done blonde - big mistake. They used to say blondes had more fun, now they appear to be a figure of fun. I'll go to sleep and dream of Vanilla Ninja, babes with dark hair. Playing roulette in a real casino dresed in a tuxedo with a beautiful girl named Maaja to bring me luck..............
