after kinda promising myself that i am going to become somewhat of a regular blogger, i wasn't able to sustain it...exciting things don't happen to me on a regular basis...and mundane things even though tend to overflow through my brain, they are kinda not developing roots... :-(
and so i decided to write about something i kinda feel strongly for...this is not a controversial post...i don't do them, but i do tend to believe that this my personal space, even if to litter with my useless opinions...
well so pro-choice or pro-life...its an endless debate...not that i want to indulge in it, but i do tend to feel strongly about pro-choice...no i am not a fetus killer, i do tend to have other hobbies, like the play-station and TV...
people who are pro-life usually cribbing about us pro-choice people...hell maybe we are just trying to control the world population...but in the end think about it...have a child which you don't want to have, and maybe you don't develop the maternal/paternal instincts for the child...and ergo, you have a deeply unhappy individual future adult and yeah regular visits to the shrink...
i don't want to have kids...not that i don't like kids, i do like the variety even after surviving a 6 yr ole nephew...but i have the threshold boredom level of a gnat, the sense of responsibility of a teenager and i am sure after combining those two qualities, i would have healthy happy children... *snicker snicker*...

so in the end pro-choice and pro-live are choices which we should make after careful thinking...

WW

P.S.->I am am militantly pro-life for my "inner" child, else i am pro-choice... :-)

wired girl, i'm pro-choice too, although i don't agree with the euphemistic choice of terms because i will also insist that i'm pro-life on a much broader scale.
the issue must be laid down squarely in these terms: should the state recognize the mother's right to abort her unborn fetus, or not?

but hey! are you joking or not about that intriguing last line of yours?
    are you pregnant??? wow... :-)

    hey moonriver,
the mother's right is the only right which should be recognized i think...because she is supposed to the sustaining presence in a child's life...

and i am so going die laughin...not pregnant just meant my "inner" child...so lemme edit the post before more people mis-understand... :-)

    hey wired girl.
i will congratulate you anyway, my friend.
we should all celebrate when one accepts, nay, stands in militant defence of her inner child... :-)

That silly Moon.....lol.....he must have been swinging way too fast on his hammock...

Your words must have got all tangled up in his brain....;-p

wired girl, i agree about the exclusive and inherent nature of that particular mother's right.
it isn't for the state to interfere with this right, or arrogate this right unto itself.
it isn't even for the state to "grant" this reproductive right to women, but only to recognize it, and offer services to support and protect women in exercising their rights.
hey, friend, i know it's moot and academic, but it would've been interesting to see how pregnancy would have re-wired your internals. lol

ginger, it's too rainy and foggy outside (and too early in the day) for a hammock session today, whether in simplex or duplex mode.
but yeah, when a woman proudly says she is with child, something inside me clicks.
something like a primitive mothering instinct.
you should know by now how my neanderthal mind works.

    hey moonriver,
i am adult enough to accept my inner child...awesome one-liner...:-)
    scary thought...really don't want my internal re-wired...

    hey ginger,
hows the weather, kinda rained here is yesterday...yeah kinda only, cant call that proper rain... :-(

    hey SeaRenaud,
don't care enough to fight...freedom does tend to lose it charm for certain people when they have to fight for their rights...i guess i am one of them...i prefer to take my rights and choices for granted...
