If so why and explain..I don't believe we go somewhere when we die. I believe heaven and hell are conditions of living and there is a inner force (God) in us, and with the right education or teaching, you will look for the God in you and produce Heaven while you live, but if you have had poor education and poor teachings then the product of that wll be a life of hell. Jesus said that the "body is the temple of God". Temple is where somone great lives. Then the Bible goes on to say "seek ye first the Kingdoom of God", And then He promises us life and life more abundant. How can we seek the kingdoom of God first, and then have life and life more abundant, then tell us that we have to die to get it.

The difficulty of everybody is we are in physical bodies and can only perceive through our senses. We define things as good or bad, depending on the results, and our opinion is based on how we feel through our senses. If God is real, then He has to be in control of everything, including evil. How can you know what good is without evil? You must know evil first before you can define or understand good. Yes, our opinions are dependant upon the environment: education, advertising, parents, teachers, etc. We are trained to live in a particular form of reality. Reality is not the same for you as it would be for an Eskimo. But an Eskimo's reality is made by God as it is for you. The difference is consciousness. Inside the physical body is a consciousness that is the real you. Your reality also changes as you age. You don't see things now the way you saw them as a child. You body has changed also. The one thing that hasn't changed is you, your consciousness. You know what is standing before you in a mirror is constantly changing. That is not you, but what your consciousness is doing. So what is that consciousness that you know is you? It is God. Because the consciousness that says you are you never changes. It is constant. It never changes. That is you. Your abundance in this life my not be material goods, but simply knowing who you are as a human being.

i believe in an afterlife. i believe that after we die we simply are taken somewhere else, some place more real than our universe. i believe that our universe is a stage set, constructed to play out these lives of illusion. i believe that death brings a return to reality, as opposed to this life of illusion.

Interesting question. I resolve this by simply saying I don't know where I came from before I was born, or where I will go after I die.

I do agree with Christ's admonition that the Kingdom of God is "at hand," that is has come near, and that the Kingdom of Heaven is a lifestyle choice - this life, this moment, this reality.

I also like lfbno7's assertion that this existence is also illusion. So often our "reality" is little more than a charade, play acting, living out a script that someone else wrote for us a long time ago.

One thing that I so love about the Bible is that the script is flipped throughout, visions of new realities are constantly created. The impossible becomes possible, over and over again.

Ifbno7...First off I don't want this to turn into a critcism blog, but constructive conversation....I'm merly asking a question to find an answer....when I read your comment I have to ask questions. What kind of afterlife do you vision and when you say we will be taken somewhere, does the "we" mean our spirit...and when you say more real than our universe...what could be more real than the reality of the present time?

I know that as a parent I want everything for my children. Calling the Energy   Energy or One Creative Power that created everyone and everything the Father/Mother Principal must want the same thing for all of it"s children/us.We are given the gift of freewill and from that make our choices as to what to believe and what to do. No other life form on the planet has these powers. This is a great responsibility for humanity. The seen and unseen are basically the same thing. We chose to have the veildrop so that we could not see other lifetimes in this 3 dimensional reality we call life on planet earth. If we can not handle life here and now as in people we have not liked , hated,  killed or loved what would we do if we had to live with and seeit all.Due to Karma our husband/wife might be some one that in the past had loved or hated us: killed or loved us. Heaven is a state of mind. After our transition we do a life review and decide where and when to come back to to heal the emotional trauma that we have not resolved. Hell is a creation of governments and religion that keeps the people controlable. When a war cry is issued the heads of both command the masses to fight and kill. The masses never know what it is all about they just go on command. Our choice create a life of  heaven or hell. To love all people has never been tried that whichthe Masters have always taught us to do.Instead religion and governments separate the people which works for they but not the masses. Knowledge of who and what we really are brings enlightenment to people so that they can be free in this lifetim and not have to return to this self created reailty. As above so below.  What you are you take with you where-ever you go in any dimension.

Only you can answer this question from what you have been taught, Either you believe in life after death as in the reserection of jesus, or you don't. Believers go to heaven unbelievers go to hell. There is no inbetween. Your body dies your spirit lives on. Where do you want to spend eterinty?~WOLF~

I believe that in the hearts of everybody, I believe we are looking for the Kingdoom of God on earth. The Bible says " let that same mind be in you that same mind that is in Christ Jesus" Christianity teaches that Jesus was God. If we all had that same mind in us that Jesus had, what would we be. This would be the Kingdoom of God on Earth. I believe that when we are declared dead, that is the end. I believe that the ressurrection will be the paradigm shift in the thinking of the people, not people coming out of graves, back to life. Thats just what I believe, I can't say that I know, but if there were forked roads and I was given truth of what was down each road this, would be the road I would take.

Before I go on to discuss the topic I will like to let you know that you are a unique being with unique qualities. You are wonderfully made by God the creator, loaded with potentials...
Did you read the blog entry below about Adam's transgression? Now read this: How does Jesus define righteousness? It it obedience to the 10 commandments? Is it some sort of formula that we have to follow?...
Have a Godly time!

As Christian's we learn that the just shall live by faith alone, so what is faith and how do we get it....
You do not have to live in bondage to things that you have done in the past nor things that others have done to you. Set yourself free through none other than through the Lord, Jesus Christ....
