I've been working overtime and missing the relaxation of SC, but today said I would take some time to look around and see what's up.

I've been thinking of quietone and hoping she is having a wonderful time on her vacation, but wish she had snagged me up and hidden me in her luggage.

Mr. W. is on vacation and you all know how that goes!  He has time to look around at all the things that need doing and I don't want to hear about it after a 10 hour day.  But he's also made sure I had dinner and snacks for work, besides cleaning the house, doing work outside, and installing a ceiling fan in the kitchen!

(I knew I needed a wife)

Oh well...the other thing is:  I am either losing my mind, or when you are tired weird things happen.  But I hear the fan running in the window and along with it,  I hear the radio playing!

It sounds like "More Than a Feeling" is playing, then if I keep listening--I hear a D.J. talking!

Ever hear the radio playing when it's not on?  I once heard that was a sign of a ghostie about, but really I just think I am tired and that's "more than a feeling."

It's a way of life lately!

Hope to have more time to be around soon!  Meanwhile, I will be here for just a bit, then it's nappy time for wombie once again.  3:00 a.m. comes way too early!

Hello wombie, it been a while.  Sorry to hear about your ungodly long hours but hopefully that will change soon, huh?

soaringraven:  Nice to see you, too!  It's only during the holiday period that we have to work hard to get time off, and I heard that around Christmas and Easter--we get overtime and no time off!  I am hoping to be gone by then!

Mr. Wombie does dinner and snacks?  How nice!  I'm a little jealous!

alabamagirl:  Yea, I got subway, pot roast....health bars, small cans of chips, little bags of M &M's and drinks for my lunch.  Good boy!

I've always been a firm believer that working women need a wife. LOL  I know that I would love to have someone make me a snack or fix something so that when I was home I could relax.  That is truly weird about the music.  Like some soundtrack in your head got turned up to high.  Enjoy the music!

U-I:  I'll take what I can get, especially while he's on vaca and I am working!  I just have to bang my head and change the song on the "radio" every now and then!

Wombie....i always have some song playing in my head...its ok....don't worry....;-)

i don't need a wife. i need a cabana boy. i guess that  means i need a cabana first???? anyways...3 am??? wombie :(  the only time one should be up at 3 am is because you were awoken from a  nice deep sleep for a quick stumble to the bathroom....and then straight back to bed again! i think that that might explain why you are hearing radios and dj's. but hey, maybe it is, maybe your picking up some "doo doo do do" maybe your positioned just right and something to do with atmosphere, magnetism, electricity and the motion of the fan blades is picking up a radio station.  reckon if you can change the channel if they play a song you don't like? :)

Well, aren't you lucky gettin' yourself a wife!  Just kidding, lol.  Hope you've been able to relax some.  As tired as it sounds like you are, I'd think the radio thing was just due to that.

gingersoul:  In my head is ok--as long as it's not an annoying song.  But this music I can hear in the room.  It's nothing new, really.  I was wondering if anyone else ever "heard music" that wasn't there?

fragglesrock:  See?  I am up at 3:00 a.m.  Almost ready to go.  I see maybe three cars along the way.  A cabana boy sounds perfect!  And hey--sometimes I can "change the channel!"

Hegemone:  I relaxed some, but now it's that time of morning that I wish I had gone to bed at 4:00 p.m.!  Oh well...I can do that this afternoon--so guess I won't be here.....

I am facing about seven hours overtime this week and a whopping 12 hours next week. I am sure to be pretty worn out myself by then. I am actually already feeling worn but I just missed catching a train and have to wait 22 minutes for the next one so i decided to stay at work and cruise SC for a bit.

Get some rest and put on a Boston album. That might make you feel normal.

hotaka:  Well, at least I'm not alone on the overtime!  I just got home after working from 5:00 a.m. to 5: p.m..  The last hour was volunteer.  I was just too tired to get up and go home!  Ha.  Sorry you missed your train but nice that you took time to stop in.  Hope you have a good rest and a nice weekend at least before that nasty 12 hours o.t.!

I already hear Boston in my head, (and the room?)   but that sounds like a great idea!

Queen:  Hey there!  I haven't been keeping up too well, but hope you are doing ok.  I hope she is having a wonderful time, too!

(off to do a day with an "open -end."   We get to go home when the work is done!  Could be 10 hours, 12--or more)
