A while ago John Kerry wrote a piece in the New York Times regarding Iran. It is amazing how out of touch this man is.
First Iran. A country that almost mirrors early Nazi Germany in their complete hatred for a group of people based on culture and land disputes. A country who is taunting the world while it tinkers with nuclear material. A country whose leader has called for the genocide of a group of people based on their religious affiliation. A country who enables and finances one of the largest terrorist organizations in the world and is a sworn enemy of the United States.
Second Kerry. John Kerry is a disgrace. If I knew nothing else about Kerry, just his actions during Vietnam would be enough for me to call him a traitor to America and a contradiction to everything America stands for. John Kerry is the poster-boy for the modern Democrat party, a party of appeasers who care more about poll numbers than anything else in the world. If there is a negative thing I can say about my great America, it is the fact that people like John Kerry can lie and somehow convince people to give him even a tiny shred of power.
A quote:
We’re seeing signs that it’s having an impact in Iran as well. Returning to harsh criticism now would only erase this progress, empower hard-liners in Iran who want to see negotiations fail and undercut those who have risen up in support of a better relationship.
This quote is regarding President Obama's speech and his supposed reaching out to the Muslim world. Of course Kerry for some reason has failed to understand that the majority of people in Iran didn't see or hear the President's speech because the leadership has ironfisted censorship over there. Go and read Kerry's article, it will send a chill up your spine as to how clueless this man is.
We cannot have a "better relationship" with a country who continues the despicable hate-filled rhetoric that is destabilizing and bad for the world. Until the Iranian leadership recogize they can't publically deny the Holocaust, finance terrorists, and call for the destruction of Israel there can never be a better relationship. No amount of John Kerry's ridiculous Bush-blaming, incredible ignorance, and misguided sympathy is going to change this. Kerry is so worried about protesters getting killed in Iran but seems to have forgotten the millions of South Vietamese killed because of people like him.
