This post is far less sentimental-
I'm curious: Have you ever taken nude pictures of yourself? Have you ever had someone else
take them of you?
I was 40 the first time someone told me they wanted to see a picture of me naked.
That's actually funny considering my best friend in college was an artist who painted tons of nude women. He'd always take their photos first, and then paint them from the picture.
It just never came up for me.
I'm sure I'd have been too modest if it had.
Even at 40, I was shocked by the request. I told him I thought it was a little late for me to begin my Playboy career....
But of course I took the pictures.
I don't have hard copies - they exist in a secret msn mailbox only.
See, another secret.

my dad found mine. my old boyfriend took them of me, i was 21 i believe. They were porno pics, actually they were pretty tasteful. you see he was a photography major. :) he made me look good!! so i didnt even care when i heard my dads bellow over the phone after he found them in my old room!!

i haven't done nude photos of myself, but i have a friend who is a professional photographer who talked me into being his model for first a black and white series he was working on that focused just on specific body parts. in each photo, save one, i am clad in clothing or lingerie, and you never get a full shot of my body. the photos are very tastefully done. in the only two photos where I am sans clothing, I am drapped in a sheet in one, and in the other, I am half hidden by an open door.
i later was his model for a sepia series he did.
i don't think i have the nerve to do fully nude ones.

I have taken nude pictures of myself with a digital camera for someone. I promptly deleted them after he received them. I found it amazing that he overlooked my obvious imperfections and found beauty in them.

See, we're in a long distance relationship, so I was just doing him a favor :)
I was really ultra-shy and not too confident. But finally after a couple of drinks, I did it. And of course, after the first time, the next ones were a lot easier. And they weren't exactly porn and not fully nude. I left some for the imagination :)
And like CreativeWoman, I took the pics and deleted straight after my bf got 'em. Safety measure. My bf saved 'em in a passworded and coded file. So, I feel safe :)

One of my little pleasures when I travel is to take pics of myself that are intended to arouse. I use my phone's camera and then email them. Given that I travelled a great deal this spring, it helped out a lot to stay connected that way.

I had a nude photo taken of me quite recently after I washed a Harley bike in the nude, I laid down on it and had it taken.
Can't help being impressed with how good I look. (I'm 31)

Oh....those little, naughty cameraphones.....i have tons of pix i sent to my ex and downloaded to my comp. i took pix of him too..and IT....i still have it...when travelling for work, he used to send me pix of himself from the hotels...the sexier has been one of him with only a cowboy hat and a tools belt around his waist. Yummy....When we were married we filmed our making love sessions several times. Once we set up a kind of photo studio in our living room, lights and all.....hey, i really looked good in them...
We were pretending he was a rude professional photograper and i was this so shy model. Too funny. And sexy...
During one of our last evening out together we were so horny i went to the bathroom of the restaurant and sent him a pix of me as much naked as i could manage to be to his phone. He said he almost chocked with the wine when he saw it......oh, good memories....
Rarity...my favorite open air nude pix involved me on laying down on the beach covered only with an amazingly white powdery sand.....

I am usually the one going around taking pix of everybody......the one always taking tons of pix during trips..and so the one ending up havign the less pix of anybody else.........the story of my life...:->

SL, I love my camera phone. It's a full 1.3 megapixel and the resulting shots are good enough for my computer desktop (no, not the ones from the hotel rooms!). I especially like the convenience of being able to email them without doing any downloading first.
Here's a suggestion for those of you with this camera-phone capability: if you find yourself in a phone-sex encounter, take a revealing pic in the moment and email it immediately to your partner.

Once I got a digital camera I took many photos of myself in every angle and way imaginable. I'm not really sure why, but a big part of the motivation is that I'm degrading rapidly, and I wanted evidence that I looked halfway decent once.

purple: To be honest, I believe that part of my motivation in taking the pictures was similar to yours- I figured i wasn't ever going to look better, and I wanted to capture myself before it went downhill any further!!!
After I saw them, I was surprised that, although far from perfect, there were many 'beautiful' things about me.
I'm sure that if you look closely, you will see the same thing.

I was surprised to see so many repressed people. I have lots of nude photos. I don't hang them on my walls because so many people have a victorian mindset. We are a long way from loving the skin we are in. I loved my life drawing classes because the models were basically real people without hang-ups. Fat people are more fun to draw by the way. The models aren't shy...they stand there for 20 or 30 minutes at a time. They understand it's for art and the body is an amazing thing. None of them look like supermodels. -
