Samsung spilled the beans on the new P3 touch screen mp3 player at the company's CES 2009 press conference. As an update to Samsung's popular P2, the P3 shares many of its predecessor's features, including a 3-inch WQVGA touch screen, DNSe sound enhancement, audio and video playback, photo viewer, FM radio, voice recording, and Bluetooth capabilities such as phone pairing and stereo audio streaming.
Unlike the P2, the P3 Samsung uses a colorful new user interface dubbed "EmoTure" that emphasizes personalize. The body of the P3 is made from die-cast metal, available in black or silver, measuring just 0:39 inch thick. P3 so users get treated to Haptic feedback on the touch screen, offering a little reassuring vibration whenever a menu item is selected.
The P3 will be available in the first half of 2009 in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, and 32 GB storage capacities. No final word on pricing, but current pricing P2 should give an idea of what to expect.Teac has added three new mini mp3 sunglasses to its line-up. The MP-550 is a touchscreen model that can play AVI movie clips as well as displaying Jpeg, bitmap and GIF images.

The Teac MP-500 has a 4GB flash memory and is able to show photo slideshows and album art. onda mp4 players weighs 50g and has a 2.4in color display. It has an FM radio and a voice recorder and comes with 7 EQ presets. It costs € 99 and is available now. A 2GB version is available for € 79
The two other new players in the Teac line-up are smaller yet. The MP-277 weighs 35g and has a 1.8in screen, click wheel to select songs and, in common with its (relatively) big brother, offers ID3 tag support for songs. As with the Teac MP550, it can play video - in Mpeg4 format - and has both a touchscreen and an wholesale mp4 players and voice recorder. The MP-277 costs € 39 for the 1GB version and € 79 for the 4GB capacity model.
The Teac MP-233, meanwhile, has a 1.5in display, weighs 25g and plays music but lacks the FM tuner found on the other two mini players. All three can display photos.
