yesterday i got bored because there werent many people... but i sold 85% of my barbecue... yay!!! that's good enough for me... ;-) considering there's a storm here in the philippines...
i am now considered as a street vendor... lol...
well i wouldnt worry about the location and other stuff. but i do have to carry all my stuff back at home because i cant leave.
this is not a very glamorous job. i get dirty and i smell like smoke when i go home but i don't care... i'm earning money. and earning it honestly... ;-)
so anyway here are some pics from the barbecue stuff ive been doing...
this is my grill and beside it are where the different kind of meats are...
this is my grill... yup it's smoking... it's hot and ive been burned many times... i'm actually used to the smoke now. some students at the background buying fish balls at my neighbor vendors. theyre very nice people not like those bitches on my last post...
this is my helper. i hired her to do the marinating of the meat, putting it in a stick and selling the barbecue... very nice lady kinda remind me of my grandma... ;-)
this is my other helper. she's actually our housekeeper but at about 7 pm she helped me out because my other helper goes home.
as you can see i can't do this alone because there are times that many people buy barbecue at the same time and it's hard keeping up with them...
me grilling...
my big ass umbrella... lol... i need this because it's been raining!!!
here are some different types of meat that i sell.. these are still raw by the way and it's nightime when i took the pics that's why there's only a few of them...
from left to right: pig's ears (well actually the meat found in a pig's head), pig's intestine, chicken intestine. i know it sounds gross but here in the philippines we eat these stuff.i actually love the chicken intestine. very yummy. dont worry we clean them very much. before grilling these we already clean, boil and marinates the intestine so it's pretty safe to eat. and the number one reason like our barbecue because ours is very clean!!!!
pork barbecue..
hotdogs... kids really love this..
pig's liver barbecue...
sometimes people like to dip our barbecue to some vinegar. so we mix our vinegars with onions, sugar, salt, red hot peppers and seasoning mix. and put it in little plastics for people who ordered takeouts...
well, that's all the pics i can share. thanks for reading!!! now i gotta go and get ready to sell my barbecue... :-)
keep on blogging!!!
p.s.
i dont know if anyone notices this but my skin is a lot better ever since i'm doing this barbecue thing. i guess it's because of the steam from the grill. it opened up my pores and i sweat a lot! and i dont get pimples anymore!!! yay i could save money from doing facials...lol...
