so today the guy went out of town to do his monthly visit with his parent. before he left he stopped by to say goodbye to me since we had to miss breakfast today.  he rode with me up the elevator back to work so we could have as much time together as possible.

while i was at work, i was daydreaming what it would have been like to be his 'girlfriend' when we were in college.  so i go move my care and give him a call to see if he made it to his destination safe.  while we are talking i get a text message from hi saying call him when i get a chance. so i'm like why did you just text me and he's like i did that before you  called, isn't that why you called, and i'm like no, i was just calling to talk. so we were both like wow - we were thinking of each other and expressed it honestly --- so it's spectacular to know that he wanted to talk to me and i wanted to talk to him and it's not just some fake 'yeah i'm happy you called'.  its few and far in between that two people are on the same page without wondering if the other person is just doing something to please the other one.

that's the kind of connection that makes this so nice.
