Happy Birthday B!

I don't have much time.  It's almost midnight.  Yet, I cannot let the day literally slip away without putting something in writing about one of the most import events in my life.
 
Today, my oldest son turned 20! 
 
Happy Birthday B!  If you only knew how much I loved you, it would overwhelm you.  Someday, when (and only then) you have kids of your own, will you completely understand such love. 
 
You are an awesome son and I'm proud to be your mom and to have been blessed with such a gift as you.

    ha ha Ginger!  Alas, I am definitely old enough for a 20 year old but bless your heart and soul for thinking I'm too young!!!!!!!

    Ginger, you are still too kind. Getting older sucks!  Kids getting older????? Well, that depends on their moods.  Sometimes I can't wait for them to grow up and other (most) times, it is just soo depressing.  I also wish I had a daughter.  You are definitely blessed.  Hang in there till she has babies - a while yet - but that will be wonderful!  Grandchildren to spoil and hug, and kiss, and love.......I could go on and on.  Different with boys.  Girls are your daughters forever.  Boys are your sons till they take wives.  Boys grow up and go away......the tighter you hold on, the harder they pull away.  Always.  Males.  Sheesh!
