I can say that I remember all of those events.

    I remember:

The Kennedy assasination.  (I was in third grade)

Seeing Eisenhower on tv!  (just to show you how old I am)

The Beetles invasion.  (I saw them on Ed Sullivan)

The moonlanding.  (on my sister's birthday)

    Watergate.  (I was confused)

The birth of MTV.  (just threw that in, as it changed music history, I think)

The Challenger explosion.  (I was in South Carolina, cooking lunch)

John Lennon's assasination.  (I was appalled)

The fall of the Berlin Wall.  (I was in Germany)

Desert Storm  (I was in England, and scared)

911 (I was at work, and feeling strange all morning)

George Bush, jr.  (I was embarrased)

    The recession.  (I am worried)

President Obama? (I am hopeful for change for the better)

I know I've omitted many, many world changing events.  But what a re-cap of my life-span so far!  I may have to come back and add or correct....

Well, I can begin a new list (or myself) of strange events, maybe?

I would begin with "Bob" and his happy wee-wee commercials......

I was alive when Kennedy was assasinated, but only a few months old.  I remember watching the moon landing on TV at school.  I remember the body count for our soldiers being displayed on the monitor of the news each evening.  I remember the Beatles and Elvis, but I was a kid.  Watergate was a bad word in our house and Lennon's murder a shame.  I was in high school when I heard about the attempted assasination of Reagan.  The rest I remember either as a teenager or adult.  The morning of the 911 attack I heard it on the radio after dropping my kids off at school.  I nearly had to pull over and be sick.
