Now they're demonstrating in Iran. They want an honest election, not the fraud that has been perpetrated against them. They want Scumbaggajab, or whatever that moron's name is, out of office. But he has his ass on the throne and he ain't about to get off it. He's the anti-George Washington. GW voluntarily relinquished power after 8 years, walking away from what could have been a lifetime job. This Scumbaggajab is not wanted by the Iranian people, so he lies about the election results and refuses to leave. Then he gets his militia to shoot some little kids in the eye, hoping that will disperse the crowds of Iranians who want a free country. What they need is another revolution. That's pretty obvious. Throw the bum out. There is a time for violence, and in Iran, this is it. They need a revolution. They really need to stop taking this guy's crap.

Scumbaggajab, lmao.  That gave me my morning laugh, thank you!  This guy is surely trouble though, it'll be interesting and concerning to see what develops from his poor choices.  You're right though, this might be one of those times to get him out while they still can ... IF they still can.

I hate to say that it'll probably get worse before it gets better.
But I am hopeful that they will throw the bum out!

Scumbaggajab is a Dark Soul in Rosemary Altea's soul signs. As Hitler was. And Charles Manson. And Son of Sam. And that serial killer of women in the book The Devil in the White City.

Putting aside your penchant for domestic dictators for a moment. There was an interesting article in salon today entitled "Night of the living neocons."

  • lfbno7 said on Jun 19, 2009....
Who are you talking to? If me, I don't know what domestic dictators you are referring to. I don't have a penchant for anyone. I don't like any politician on earth right now. I used to like Kucinich and Nader but don't anymore. Now I can't stand any of them. Maybe you're talking to someone else. The article said that neocons suck and they were after war with Iran. I don't like neocons. I don't like Iran. They all suck. Iran's govt is about the suckiest govt on the planet right now. They need to go. The people of Iran need to throw their sorry asses out. They need a revolution. They need to resort to violence now. Votes didn't work so they need guns and death.

"Iran Had a Democracy Before We Took It Away

    "By Chris Hedges

"Iranians do not need or want us to teach them about liberty and representative government. They have long embodied this struggle. It is we who need to be taught. It was Washington that orchestrated the 1953 coup to topple Iran’s democratically elected government, the first in the Middle East, and install the compliant shah in power. It was Washington that forced Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh, a man who cared as much for his country as he did for the rule of law and democracy, to spend the rest of his life under house arrest. We gave to the Iranian people the corrupt regime of the shah and his savage secret police and the primitive clerics that rose out of the swamp of the dictator’s Iran. Iranians know they once had a democracy until we took it away.

...there was only one poll carried out by a western news organization. It was jointly commissioned by the BBC and ABC News, and conducted by an independent entity called the Center for Public Opinion (CPO) of the New America Foundation. The CPO has a reputation of conducting accurate opinion polls, not only in Iran, but across the Muslim world since 2005. The poll, conducted a few weeks before the elections, predicted an 89 percent turnout rate. Further, it showed that Ahmadinejad had a nationwide advantage of two to one over Mousavi.

How did this survey compare to the actual results? And what are the possibilities of wide scale election fraud?

According to official results, there were 46.2 million registered voters in Iran. The turnout was massive, as predicted by the CPO. Almost 39.2 million Iranians participated in the elections for a turn out rate of 85 percent, in which about 38.8 million ballots were deemed valid (about 400,000 ballots were left blank). Officially, President Ahmadinejad received 24.5 million votes to Mousavi’s 13.2 million votes, or 62.6 per cent to 33.8 per cent of the total votes, respectively. In fact, this result mirrored the 2005 elections when Ahmadinejad received 61.7 per cent to former President Hashemi Rafsanjani’s 35.9 per cent in the runoff elections. Two other minor candidates, Mehdi Karroubi and Mohsen Rezaee, received the rest of the votes in this election.

"Mousavi, Celebrated in Iranian Protests, Was the Butcher of Beirut

"He may yet turn out to be the avatar of Iranian democracy, but three decades ago Mir-Hossein Mousavi was waging a terrorist war on the United States that included bloody attacks on the U.S. embassy and Marine Corps barracks in Beirut.

"Mousavi, prime minister for most of the 1980s, personally selected his point man for the Beirut terror campaign, Ali Akbar Mohtashemi-pur, and dispatched him to Damascus as Iran's ambassador, according to former CIA and military officials.
