I'm just popping in to say hello, I can see that everyone I remember is still here ....................... nice to know :-)
We have had a lot of family drama over the last few months, and I just got out of the habit of coming here.
Soooooo
This is what has been going on.
My Great Aunt died in October, she was 101, a pretty good age. She fell and fractured her hip, initially she did well, but when she went back to the nursing home she just faded away.
Then my cousins daughter comitted suicide, she used to self harm, and in the end she drank a bottle of vodka and fell off a cliff, we're not sure if she fell or jumped, but I think it was the latter. She planned it, she rehommed her pets, switched off her mobile phone and then disappeared. She was missing for five days before she was found. As you can imagine the family was devastated, especially my mother. She had phoned mum a few days before to ask if she could come and stay, but my Dad was ill at the time so Mum said no, she's still blamming herself. It happened just before Christmas.
Dad is ill, he got a diagnosis of heart failure at about the same time my cousins daughter died, he's not doing well at the moment, and is in hospital now. He's waiting for a pacemaker, but has been told it may not be able to be fitted, and if it is fitted, may not work - we'll wait and see.
Other than that life goes on much the same, I still have my work, although there may be changes afoot there, I still have my horse, cats and a roof over my head lol.
I'll have to try and catch up with people, see whats been going on in your lives.
