Short post....
My summer plans included a little bit of work, a little bit of house cleaning, a little bit of this and a little bit of that but mainly it included a LOT of free time. My school job won't start back until August and my preschool job is only 3 hours a day, 3 days a week. That setup makes my weekends 4 days long. I was anticipating some quality time with the pool.
But, alas, plans change. Sometimes plans change for the better, even if those changes require a small price...... like free time. ;-)
My summer plans now include baseball - large amounts of baseball. Scooter Bug made the baseball All Star team! Yeah! I'm so proud of him. In our little town, and in that little league, it's considered sort of a big deal...... well, for an 8 year old anyway.
I had to take a few lines to brag on him. I love that child! I happen to enjoy little league baseball too. I'm not into watching the major leagues but there is something about a little league game that screams "Summer"!
