Well, no new work computer yet, but I have somebody working with me to team up on my boss and get her to get me one.  The thing is, the one that I fell a little in love with today is a Mac, not a PC.  It was awesome though.  It was so fast, so clear and SO much easier than everything I work with now.  Instead of agonizing hours spent trying to get one simple thing punched out I could spend a couple of hours, IF that, and punch something out.  We might be able to do thing in ONE day that might normally take two or three.  It would be a dream.  Computer ... I know you're reading this ... don't get jealous ... it's my WORK computer.  I won't turn to Mac for home use, don't be afraid!  Don't rebel ... please?

Upon returning home I now know that the momma cat did not die at least, she was sitting in the middle of the yard.  The kittens are still in the garden meowing in though.  So she's either weaning them, abandoned them or they're just wanting to be overly friendly.  I'm banking on one of the first two really.  We'll see what happens though.

I think after this I'm going to go lie down for a little while, my back and legs are hurting me a little.  Some time stretching out will help.  After that I don't know what I'm going to do.  Right now I've got the house to myself but I don't feel like vacuuming.  I should though.  The rest of the cleaning is done, unless I feel like doing dishes ... which I might.  Maybe I'll make some coffee and hype myself up.  I imagine I might not really need it because admittedly, I'm stuffed right now and it's making me sleepy.  I did enjoy my ginormous fruit/spinach salad with poppy seed dressing.

Beyond all of that, I think I'm going to take advantage of the down time I'm going to get because my husband gets paid today which means all sorts of errand running, bill paying and other things.  So yes, going to relax before later on tonight occurs and I have a feeling we'll end up hanging out with TFYO and OFHG too.

Nappy time ...

    Enjoy your nap!

For graphic design I will grudgingly admit that Macs are the golden standard.  Blech! that left a bad taste in my mouth.  *sigh*  Oh well.

Will your programs convert from a PC to a Mac alright?  I don't know....that's why I ask.  I have a friend who works at a newspaper and they use Macs exclusively.

I hope you got a good nap in and have a great weekend.

Uni - Lol, again, I never made it to the nap, dad came home first.  Grrr!  Yeah, I feel like I'm a traitor or something for liking a Mac ... *shiver*

CW - Some of them will, some of them won't.  However, through a long roundabout situation I'm not gonna drone on about, lol, one of our clients (whom my boss is an executive in marketing with) has three extra licenses for this whole suite of Mac programs (including a lot of what I'd need) ... so we'll probably be able to use that.  Also, from the other girl's experience, she already found out that most of the files will convert, so that's a good thing, considering that I'll still probably be working between a mac and then the laptop, a PC, for presentations and email and stuff like that.  I'll primarily just do the graphic design stuff on the Mac.  No nap for me, as I mentioned to Uni, dad got home first.

Queenie - I hope I do too, I'm hoping this double teaming the boss will work, lol.
