It's been a while since i've posted... just been lazy I guess. My dad is scheduled to have knee replacement surgery on June 23rd. I told him he just wants attention again. LOL. he's 65 and still working..so he is a strong person. He just really HATES laying around doing nothing. I told him enjoy it..because you'll be in physical therapy soon enough. I told my mom isn't she soo lucky. After about 3 days..she'll be telling my dad 'call your work and see if you can do SOMETHING." They love each other to death, but when my dad's home, my mom can't sit around all day. haha.

Well I hope that surgery goes well then, it sounds like you'll all take it in stride quite well.  Hope he has a speedy recovery so he doesn't drive your mom nuts, lol.

Or her drive him nuts!. lol. I'm always a little humorous that way. When I visited him in the hospital after he had his heart attack I joked to him about next time he wanted a vacation from work, all he had to do was ask. When my grandfather had surgery for colon cancer (I didn't think they went through the stomach) He showed me his stitches and I told him he can be frankensteins brother. LOL. That actually made him laugh. I like making people happy. I always look for the lighter side of things. That is how I keep my sanity. :)

Yes it definitely helps not to be all grim and down dauber all the time.  I mean, you reflect that attitude on to others, soon you're all acting the same way and logically it just seems nicer to stay good humored.  About the jokes you made, lol, your type of personality for that stuff sounds about the same as mine and my family's.
