My oh my has this been one busy morning!  I've barely had time to get on here.  Plus, the things I'm doing are about as painstaking and tedious as you could get.  On the upside, my boss said that tomorrow we were going to sit down and actually talk about a new computer and order something!  WOO HOO!  New computer for me!  YAY!  That pretty well made my day.  In fact it was good enough news that it's kept me from feeling like throwing things and breathing fire due to the other crap I'm currently working on.

I hope I can be as productive today as I was last night.  I've got my list of crap to do when I get home all ready and waiting for me, so I'll be able to get right to it.  It just helps me feel like everything is 'ok' when things are in their orderly fashion that I prefer.  Also, I have a feeling that this week is going to be another good eating week mostly because there really aren't many options to eat junk at home.  Lol, we've been a little low on the moolah so we didn't buy snacks or anything else at all.  Snacking is a choice between either getting creative and make something WAY out of points range, or just hold out until the next meal ... or bed time.

Oh also it looks like I might be making headway with the kitchen and it's slow morphism back into an actual kitchen!  I think I might have implanted the thought seeds for dad to actually keep all his paperwork and shit in the office instead of on the kitchen table.  The points I made to him were:
  • That it was nice to have the extra space to set things if needed
  • He already covers half of the counter with his other stuff
  • Then after you figure the space the microwave, sink, toaster oven and other random things take up there is not hardly any counter space, so the extra space is needed.

I mean, there's MAYBE room for one dinner plate or two to be set upon the counter at any given time to have food heaped on to it, and still it's usually half hanging off the counter, requiring it to be held at all times.  If he didn't have all of his crap everywhere, that wouldn't be the case.  I made a pretty good show of telling him I'd work with him to make the office ideal.  Right now he's complaining because the window he has to sit in front of is a distraction (get blinds, DUH) and he can't see because when he sits at the desk the light is behind him (get a small reading lamp or something, DUH!).  Easy solutions in my opinion.  It won't cramp me either because he's using the OTHER desk that I don't really use.  So I'll have mine, he'll have his, and I'll have the damn kitchen back!

Other than that, I'm a tad too busy to think of much else so I'm going to leave off here.  If I get around to it I might be back later on once I get home, we'll see.  Depends on how things go there.

Good work on pleading the case for more space in the kitchen.  It would be well worth the price of blinds and a desk lamp to reclaim space in the kitchen.  You might also argue that on a desk his papers would be safe from food stains that might happen in the kitchen.

Uni - You're right, I half ass brought it up last night via mentioning 'And we don't have to go into panic zone if some accidentally sets something on the table either!'  It boils down to change, my dad does not handle change, so I'm going to have to plead and continue building a great case, lol, or else he'll find some sneaky avenue/excuse to stay put where he's at.  There's still a downside, one day he'll get mad that his crap is in the computer room and he'll blame me because I pitched a fit about him taking up all the space.  Then I'm going to remind him that he's an adult and I couldn't possibly have MADE him do anything.  It'll just go 'round and 'round, lmao.

Frags - Yup, it was strangely busy today, lol.

DD - Yup, I'm prepared to fight for that kitchen table for sure!  Ha, and sometimes the organization can sure make the busyness take longer, but ah, as long as it gets done and done the right way (so as to prevent MORE work, ICK!) I shouldn't complain, lol.

CJ - Oh, if you go back to my 'Interior Decorating Anybody' post there's pictures of my current wall and carpet colors.  I'm wanting to repaint the walls, and unfortunately I have to stick to one color, just trying to figure out which way to go.  So far I think I've at least narrowed it to some shade between a cream/beige to a brown.  Feel free to add any opinion you wish, the more input for me the better!  I'm not used to having the freedom and ability to decorate my own abode.

    Above - Glad you did!

Queenie - Maybe, IF I can get the time to do it without getting into trouble ... IF she ever gets around to getting the computer since now she has not said word one about it and I can't find her!

UF - What do you mean?  How old are you?  Ha, it never mattered to me my age, I just want the respect and I am as hard headed as he is, so when I want something that would be reasonable and he wants to be a weirdo outcast and do shit his way ... I raise a stink.  I've been doing that for years, and I'm only 24 by the way, so not that old.

I admit, the title was just a random thought while cleaning that literally made me laugh out loud, lol. Glad nobody was home. :-p...
I got confuzzled when I stopped in to get gas where I used to work, and the new lady there, who I've talked to some, interupted me with a question.

"So, you're divorced, aren't you?"

"What? Where'd you hear that?"
