  Huh, see, the only way I could fathom this being OK was if he and his girlfriend discussed it first and they agreed that he would go find a hooker and just get it over with so she could still keep her virginity, or whatever it was keeping them from having sex, and he could get on with it without being a jerk.  In all likely hood, that's not what happened, so no, it wasn't OK, and obviously he was rationalizing it for himself so he wouldn't feel bad if he really felt that he did it because he loved and respected his girlfriend.  In my opinion, what it was was that he couldn't control himself, went out and did it, felt horrible and had to rationalize it.  I bet he didn't tell her he did it after wards either, did he?  That's not love and respect, and it's not acceptable to me ... but then, I'm a girl.  Either way, if the tables were turned ... no, it still wouldn't be ok.  I couldn't see the logic in telling my boyfriend 'Hey, I want to have sex but I don't want you to feel pressured, so I'm gonna go screw somebody with a little too much experience, try not to get an STD and that way you won't have to feel pressured over it!  I love you!'  Amazing what some people try to convince themselves and others of, isn't it?

  well, women don't usually have to go to a prostitute, although some do anyway. yes, women cheat on their husbands and boyfriends who they say they love. i believe the ratio is much higher for men who do tho.

  I can't speak for the guys, but as a woman I think it's probably not really love if you find that you sleep around with someone and you're supposed to be in a committed relationship.  Just one woman's opinion.

  Maybe he thought it through and that's what he came up with, so it may have just came off that way to you.  I'm sure it was a big deal for him if he's out banging hookers!  lol!

  I've run into some girls ( Latin girls) that will put up with that kind of behavior from a guy simply because they've already had a baby from their previous boyfriend who got them pregnant and then left after finding out.  (irresponsible assholes).
  However it could also be a phase that the guy is going through although I still think it's wrong. 
  Ok, maybe just once in awhile it's ok... (joking)

  It seems pointless to dump any sort of emotion into an empty shell... Even though I thought this show was humorous at times, I never really understood the whole 'call girl' scene. Sometimes Belle would find herself 'playing house' with her Johns and it would end in total tragedy. If there isn't an emotional attachment, then you might as well use your own hands... Not to mention that venereal disease is practically common place. If you play, wear a couple of raincoats!!
