I'm taking a break from revising from my latin exam (I study classics because in my heart I want to be like Sir Humphrey Applebee), and I thought I'd take a moment to pontificate with a few one-line reviews of bands I like. Enjoy.

Iron and Wine: mellow-  TO THE EXTREME! Entirely pleasant.

The Firey Furnaces- insanity; the music that your brain would make if you were wholly mad. also pleasant.

Meshugga- hyper-complex mathematics rendered metal. fun, but difficult.

Bauhaus- as depressing yet oddly cleansing and enjoyable as the beach on a rainy afternoon.

The Devin Townsend Band- combine the reviews for firey furnaces and meshugga.

Queen- promiscuous fun in music form. Rapturous.

Chiasm- For spooky electronica, entirely enjoyable. Music to drink blood to while being sexy.

Lords of Acid- As above, but more upbeat and with the lyrics written by Catullus.

Faith No More- SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! -death-

Mindless Self Indulgence- The most unpredicatble band of all time, at least in terms of quality.
