All right now, everyone light your candles and take out your scrying crystals, say a prayer, offer a piece of fruit to the gods whoever they may be, and get ready for a trip around the multiverse as explained to us mere mortals by advanced spirits from the Causal Plane who are nice enough to communicate to us mortals on the Physical Plane through Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, Shepherd Hoodwin, Joya Pope, and the rest of the cast of professional channels.
Our trip begins with the Tao, pronounced Dow as in Dow Jones. Tao is just another word for All That Is, or God. They prefer to avoid the word God because it has too many connotations. They use a foreign word Tao instead because it has no connotations for most of us. So they aren't endorsing or disputing the God of the Bible here. However, they are most definitely taking a position that there's something out there, that we are a part of it.
We are God. We. You and I. We are little pieces of God. We are holy. It's not that we are children of God in the sense that Jesus is said to be a direct child of God. No. It is one step beyond that. We ARE God. We're not children of God. We ARE God. So is a tree. So is a rock. God is all there is.
God wishes to have experiences. God separates pieces of itself to have those experiences. That's where you come in. You are a tiny piece of God. You have agreed to be broken off, to separate yourself from All, to take on an individual identity, in order to give God the experiences that it desires, and in order to have some experiences yourself.
We are not physical things. We are spirit, period. This physical stuff is temporary just for this one trip. You are not nearly as chubby as you think. You are spirit, not flesh.
If you are not your body, what are you? Let me ask you something - do you like anyone? Do you remember anything? Do you have any opinions about anything? All these things are magical and are you. Your identity consists of your thoughts, feelings, memories, attitudes, all things mental and emotional.
Your trip away from the oneness of God begins when you and over 1,000 other "sparks of God" like you decide to take a trip together. You go in a unit to a planet. You test it out. You see if you all like it. You spend a few lives as nature spirits on that planet, getting used to the lay of the land. As a nature spirit you interact with the plants, help them grow. Those of you who decide to incarnate on that planet will do so. I have to assume that those who decide in the negative can just go back home and forget the whole odyssey.
Now to coordinate this with the writings of psychologist/hypnotist Michael Newton, there are some who decide to take the long odyssey of multiple incarnations on a planet, and become living people, over and over. There are others who decide not to. They don't want to put themselves through it. They become angels. They will never incarnate. Perhaps the angels never even joined a cast of 1,000, and have their own paths.
So your first trip away from God is to the Physical Plane, and specifically in our case to our universe. There are countless universes to choose from and countless planets within our universe to choose from. Your unit of 1,000 all goes to the same universe, same planet, earth. But it also goes to other universes and selects a planet there, an earth-like planet, with a life that is parallel to this one. You and I are living many parallel lives right now, interacting with the same people in many different ways. In some you are a male, in some you are a female, in some you decided to become a doctor, a lawyer, a bum, a politician. In some you married the same person you are married to now. In some you married someone else who you know very well here. You are far more immersed in it than you realize, and you have had countless relationships with the very people you know right now.
Death is simply relocation. You leave your body here on the Physical Plane and go to the second plane of existence, the Astral Plane. It's a shuttle up and back from the Physical to the Astral Plane with each new life. You can also return to the Astral Plane in your sleep but you are not allowed to remember. The Astral Plane is what we think of when we discuss Heaven. But there are other Heavens.
Journey Of Souls by Michael Newton gives tons of information about the Astral Plane. Over there you have different colors, depending on your level of spiritual advancement, colors ranging from off-white for beginners to yellow/gold, light blue, deep blue, violet.
There is a structured path of incarnations. You begin as an infant soul concerned with matters of survival. You were a caveman in this stage, concerned with not being eaten by a lion. You lived dozens of lives, perhaps even hundreds of lives, in this stage, as a caveman. There are souls today who are new to earth who are now in the same infant stage we were in as cavemen. They are living lives not too dissimilar to the lives we lived then. They are in the Amazon jungle, or some other environment where their lives are in jeopardy constantly. Our earth is now reaching the point where no more newcomers want to come here and start as infants, because so many of us are so far ahead of them in the so-called civilized world, so if they want to start anew they will choose a younger planet, a planet where they won't be so far behind the rest.
An example of an infant soul in one of his very early lives on earth, who made the poor choice to live in a civilized society, where he really didn't fit in at all. Joel Steinberg. He came to America. He became a lawyer. His mind was utterly primitive. He killed children. He beat his girlfriend. He beat her child to death. Infant souls have not eaten from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil yet, in a manner of speaking. It is useless to talk morals to them. They don't have the concept yet. It's as foreign to them as it would be to a 6 month old baby.
The life lessons will shift away from survival and towards living with other people in a society. That is the point where you no longer incarnate as an infant soul. The second stage is called baby soul. There are billions of baby souls on earth. Perhaps you are one. Baby souls are all about learning the rules of living with others. They learn to obey, to fit in, to do what is expected of them, to follow the rules. It is a first step towards eating and fully digesting that apple from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
We wonder why some of us are so accepting of, for example, gay marriage, while others of us see it and cry Wrong Wrong Wrong. The baby souls are crying Wrong, it is against the rules, they are being bad, they are not listening to mommy and daddy. The more advanced souls are saying what the fuck, let them do as they please, what's it to you? Shove your silly rules up your silly ass you silly baby soul. But the baby soul experience is the first bite of the apple and is necessary, and is not inferior to the later stages. It is just another place on the record. It's an earlier song on the album.
After dozens or hundreds of lives as a baby soul, we progress to being a young soul. That's the stage when we try out our wings and see how far we can go. It's a stage obsessed with appearances, with how good someone looks, with how much money they have accumulated, how high they have climbed on the ladder of success. It is the time to try out your wings and let it fly. Most of the very important people on earth, the movers and shakers, the billionnaires, are young souls.
After dozens or hundreds of lives as a young soul, we progress to mature soul. This is where we have all the emotional drama, the relationship drama. Does he or she really love me? I'm so confused I want to kill myself. The soap opera life. A life that is more concerned with certain people and their relationship to you than it is about facing the world and taking it on. I don't know why they call it mature. It seems pretty immature to me.
Finally we reach the stage of old soul. At this point we're pretty jaded. We aren't in the rat race. We don't pay much attention to the drive for success. Who gives a shit. We want to find a place in northern California or something, and do a lot of gardening or something. We want to teach others. We want to select a student to be their mentor. We take more interest in the unknown. We probably aren't doing very much financially.
That's the general blueprint but each series of lives is unique to the individual, so this is only a very approximate blueprint meant to give a general idea of what's going on here.
After we are fucking done with all these stupid incarnations, we just hang out in the Astral Plane and stop shuttling back to the Physical Plane. When our entire unit of 1,000 plus sparks of God are completely done with this crap, we move on to another section of the Astral Plane together and begin the next stage of the journey.
After we're done with the Astral Plane we advance to the Causal Plane, and to three other "higher" planes called the Mental, Messianic, and Buddhaic. In each plane we are joined to more and more sparks, working in bigger and bigger units. In higher planes it is impossible to be lonely because we are always interacting with others, always joined with others, never alone. Aloneness is only experienced on the Physical Plane. In the Tao we are one with everyone and everything, while still maintaining our own thoughts and identity.
Eventually we get back to God, enriched by our experiences. Those experiences are recorded on the Akashic Plane. The Akashic Plane can be thought of as the Library of Heaven, a very scholarly place.
The entire odyssey, encompassing countless lives on 6 planes, is one cycle. We don't limit ourselves to one cycle. We may decide to get back on the ride again. We may decide to do something else instead. According to Shepherd Hoodwin, I've completed 14 cycles, which is one of the highest totals around, and I'm part of the very oldest 1,000 soul unit currently incarnating on earth, along with the souls of Winston Churchill and a number of others we've heard of. I'm currently in perhaps my last life as a young soul in this cycle, and frankly I am looking for an exit and I wanna leave the Physical Plane and go spend my time playing on the Astral Plane til the rest of my group "cycles off" with me. Maybe it gets a bit old after 14 friggin cycles.
Do I believe all this? Who knows. It makes a good story. It might be true. I have been given some good reasons to think that at least some of the stuff they report is true. Maybe it's all a crock. I donno. But the people who toss it in the garbage out of hand simply because it is outside of our experience are being short sighted because we really don't know what the hell the big picture is, so don't pretend you do.
I've eliminated the likelihood that Sylvia Browne, Beatrice Eadie or Esther Hicks have any truths to tell because I've read their stuff and it strikes me as pure phony bullshit. Esther is a motivational speaker, Sylvia is a self-contradicting liar, and Eadie is full of shit from the word go. That's how I read them anyway. But miracle workers like the proven spiritual medium Lisa Williams show me that it Can be done, there's Something out there, we do go someplace after we die. If you aren't convinced after seeing Lisa in action, you're a doozy, a hard headed dopy doozy. She will win over every single intelligent and open minded person in the world, so if you're not won over by Lisa after seeing her a few times, you are not intelligent and open minded.
