Waterloo is one of the most famous battles to ever happened in European history. This is the final battle of the Napoleonic Wars that took place near the village of Waterloo not far from Brussels, Belgium. Napoleon has gathered his troops to the Belgian border while a few miles away are British, Dutch, Belgians and Germans wait under the Duke of Wellington. There's also Prussian troops under Marshal Blucher accompanying the Duke. Napoleon planned to surprise these two armies by driving between them and defeating each one separately.

He was successful at first with his defeat of Prussians at Ligny but victory was incomplete because Marshal Ney whose help was needed to destroy the Prussians have mismanged an attack on British forces at Quatre Bas thus arriving too late. Duke Wellington and his troops regrouped a few miles south of Waterloo, defeated Marshal Ney and the French cavalry. Napoleon and his soldiers were defeated hereafter. He escaped to Paris with few companions. France was too weak and worn out and four days later he was abdicated. He was exiled to the island of St. Helena were he spent the rest of his life until he died.
