Some of you are really going to hate what I have to say hear but I don’t care. I want to point out from the start that I have no resist feelings towards Americans and I do not doubt the good they have brought to the international table particularly in the last 100 years or so.

That’s were the nice stuff stops. There are a number of American attitudes that really annoy me the first one is this “do as we say, not as we do” mentality allot of American politicians (including Obama) seem to have. For example why is it ok for America and her allays to have nuclear weapons but not north Korea, Syria, Jordan and Iran. Personally I would like a world with no nuclear weapons and support any attempts to curb the number of countries with nuclear weapons. I also recognise that we live in a time of nuclear weapons and it’s always better to have a bigger gun than the other guy. But who give the USA the right to dictate to other countries what weapons they can and cannot have?

Another similar example is Israel. America supply’s Israel with arms and finance but it’s not ok for Iran to supply Hezbollah with similar support. How can America seriously expect countries such as Iran to stop supplying arms to Hezbollah and to continue its search for the “bomb” when America supplies Israel and has the “bomb” themselves, it’s all very hypocritical.

Political attitudes are an additional way of thinking that really irritates me. Allot of Americans on this site seem to have the point of view that if you’re not a capitalist, you’re a communist or a liberal. Then they will force down your throat about how you must be wrong and there all right. I have found that most of the time when they start arguing with me about Socialism they start to describe Communism and have all sorts of outrageous claims, one even thought that because I am a Socialist I was pro abortion how he came to such a conclusion I will never know

I have to say I really admire the number Americans who follow the teachings of the bible. But I don’t get why everything has to be about God. It really annoyed me when I heard Bush saying that God told him to invade Iraq .when I see all of these evangelicals who from the prospective of an outsider they just look nuts! Religion and politics should never be mixed full stop!

Economically and socially I hate how Americans think they are bigger and better than everyone else it’s just not true. Arguably America is no longer the dominant world superpower it once was and American goods are not always better for example cars and computers.

I don’t know about the prospective that people in the USA have I admire all of your patriotism but form the outside you do come across sometimes as arrogant imperialists. I get the feeling that you often forget that you are a young inexperienced nation

Huburis is the name of the game in politics and I believe you described the American politics correctly in that we are arrogant imperialists. If a country doesn't play the game by rules set by the Whitehouse, then they are discriminated as terroists, communists, or any other derogatory name that inspires fear to the world public. Politics always inspires "public fear" as a reason for being. The people "need" the government for protection, whether it is the US polititcal system or any other country's political system.
Americans are drilled by their educational system that we are a meritocracy: that hard work and a little luck will make you prosperous and successful in life. That the purpose in life is to "be somebody." Of course, this is just an illusion for most people ;and, Americans in general, probably don't do as well as the people in some of the other countries. However, we hold the banner high and hope that the world will by the bill of goods.

the war on drugs is an international scheem

the war on terror is the same scheem

all of the players have been orchestrated by an international banking/military cartel

America does not exist as a singular nation

this perspective is a media propaganda blitz

this is why Nazi's were imported into the SouthWestern US in the 1930's and '40's

the Bush dynasty are directly connected to the Austrian move that started WW1

these patterns are real, they are not hard to map and, fortunately for the masses, will be changing soon. World citizens need to see nationalism for what it is....similar to religion....it divides people

yesss, in the past we needed division to understand what we know today - that we are all in this TOGETHER

the horrors of world war are there for us to study so that we never go there again. I think Obama was clear when he stated the New US policy of nuclear irradication on the part of ALL nations.

I totally agree with your assessment of "Americans" - those that are in the media anyway, but there is another side to America that does not immediately meet the eye. Since we were the first to automate our nation, we are the ones to watch - so that others will learn what not to do. We tripped and fell along the lines of giving killing technologies to uneducated monkies in the name of power and control. So, Proceed at your own risk and check out the corruption in your country - it is there, it is just hidden better. We are transparent about our transgressions, unlike many other countries that point their fingers at our debauchery, while concealing their torture chambers and rape rooms.

We are teaching by example, and if you can find a country that is as open as ours - let me know

    aloha

Andora— i have read most of those conspiracy theories that you have mentioned and they are all very good. However you have taken them out of contest and tried to put forward a case for a new world order which i don’t belief in it would just be far too complex and there would be to many agendas at work.

Every nation on this earth has it’s skeletons in the closet not just America that said though they still really annoy me for all of the reasons i have discussed above. Most of the developed nations of the world are older than America so you’re not really setting a example to us on what to do and not do as we have already been there, however i do agree that we can learn from American mistakes but also from mistakes that any nation makes. America should stop and learn from the rest of us.

well I'm not a rooster crowing about the US and, we did lead the way in war powers recently when we took out Germany and Japan (with a little help from our Nazi friends - nuke scientists from Germany!

One World Order already exists kevin

Osama Bin Laden is just as much a schill for this group as was Amenadjob

we are the pawns on their chess board and it isn't really a conspiracy theory, it is simply the ultra-wealthy divying up the board, they've been doing this on a technological level since Napoleon. The bankers bank a war and get paid by both sides. Anyone who cares enough can study the banking cartels and see the connections with the militarism that was put into place to broker all of the natural resources regardless of nationalism. If a nation disagree's, as Iran did in the last century, they will be put upon so very hard that their own people will displace them. lucky for Iran that the peops are so smitten with the Khoemeni's, or the illuminati would own that nation lock stock and barrel. Much of the push back in the middle east is because the illuminati is in bed with the Sunni's in Saudi Arabia, leaving he Shiite to mop their floors - this explains the giant Shiite enlightenment accross the board....

to call something a conspiracy theory is a way of trying to keep it from a productive debate....this has worked for a long time now, UNFORTUNATELY.
  • doortoinsanity said on Jun 08, 2009....
I agree with you kev up to the "inexperienced nation" part.  We all came from somewhere and our Constitution has been used as a template for other countries.

andora: I was with u all the way until I read the word 'illuminati'.

Except for the nukes.  I don't ask Iran or anyone else if I want one, why should they?
    unbelievable.
  • javadewd said on Jun 09, 2009....
American politicians are tools. Now if you want an example of an American statesman, look at Congressman Todd Akin. He's nobody's tool. I have money that I'll put up against anybody betting that of all the elected officials that are currently in the legislature that you will never find this cat in any sort of scandal, political or otherwise. This guy did everything short of set himself on fire to stop TARP-1.

On nukes -- Big boy countries like the US, USSR or China can have an arsenal of nukes, but the idea is to never use them. When Israel got one, everybody backed away. The same with India. Who "sponsored" these two little countries getting nukes? The US and Russia (former USSR). The idea that Iran, North Korea and Venezuela are pursuing nuclear arms is dangerous because those shitheads will actually try to use them... And that's not a good thing.

On the political attitudes -- You gotta thank your pal Daniel Hannan for setting me straight on a few things. You see, Capitalism and Socialism/Communism are the only two things that we Americans have ever experienced. They're one extreme or the other and therefore you have those who really like one or the other and then diametrically oppose the other. The worst part is that conservatism vs. liberalism has nothing to do with our views about capitalism vs. nationalism short one view : the size of government in our lives. You see, some of us prefer government work for us (approve our meat, approve our drugs, pay our country's bills) while others would rather work for the government (nationalized heath care, nationalized home appropriation, nationalized jobs, education and other "entitlements").

On religion -- Two of the biggest diseases to hit religion (and sorry to say it's eaten up most of Europe now) is post-modernism and existentialism. The first one is easy "feel good religion." The music has to make you swoon, the sermons have to be like an over-energized infomercial, and nobody ever gets offended. Personally, I have a bit more of a Puritan-esque preference when it comes to religion. I like being told by someone in religious authority that I'm fucking up and that I should correct it without delay. Your mileage may vary.

The second one is a bit of a conundrum, because it is a method by which to unravel even the most sane logic. For example, the US Constitution does not state anywhere in it that "thou shall not murder" or any variant thereof, but it does said that we are "endowed with inalienable rights by our Creator," however if I'm not religious (a-religious, anti-religious, atheist or otherwise) then these 'moral laws' don't apply to me on a federal level and such issues as abortion are purely right and just to me. This is why conservatives push for abortion to be handled at a state level, because each state in the US Republic has it's own state constitution that includes how we handle murder (some even include the death penalty -- Texas for sure). You'll often hear me (or someone) say that it's all how they define the word "is," because to an extastentialist, absolutely everything is relative.

I'll gladly grant that just over 200 years as a nation makes us a bit inexperienced compared to the rest of the world, but you would also have to realize that our current president had a whole two years in federal politics (before that he was a political organizer in the corrupt streets of Chicago -- see Rod Blagojevich for example) who was never a state politician (let alone a governor) first, who had radically liberal friends and mentors, who dared the American public to mention his wife, race, religious background or even his middle name during his presidential campaign (they were all slapped with the label "racist") and used ACORN to sign up dead people to vote his corrupt ass into office... So I hardly consider him to be an experienced president of an inexperienced country. Two wrongs certainly don't make a right here.

    Hope this helps!
  • stopmediabias said on Jun 09, 2009....
This moral relativism that you seem to preach is sickening at it's core.  This whole debate is cut and dried.

    America/Israel- Good

    Iran/ Hezzbolah-Evil

    Capitalism-Good for society

    Socialism-Bad for society

We Americans don't think we have a better system, we know we have a better system and if it wasn't for the American spirit and determination to preserve what is good then we would all be Nazis today.

Now everything I just stated is proven very easily by statistics that you can find.

And if America is not a dominant superpower then we will just take bow out of the next tsunami, or the next world conquerer like Hitler and we will see what happens.

for your information SMB, Iran is more democratic than the good ole U S of A!

80% of their citizens came out to vote!

national pride is a good thing unless that nation has committed grievous war crimes, such as the good ole U S of A!

I love many things about the United States, but I refuse to ignore the fact that the Iraqi war was illegal and went against our stated values. Pre-emptive war is not an American value and people like SMB, D6fer, Alienated etc....continue to deny what occurred under the last administration. This is an important moment for the US to be a world leader by indicting those who broke the laws of the United States.

Now that Obama refuses to follow up on the past administration by ignoring the war crimes laws of our country, we can pretty much KNOW that there are other powers at work here.

so u don't like the word illuminati

    how about cabal

or can you spell The Carlyle Group?

using the idium that we are keeping world threats under check sounds like the babbling of the hypnotized masses!

we ceased to be a nation when dick negotiated our Energy Policy behind closed doors with multi-national corporations like Hunt Oil. All of you who continue to ignore the REAL reason we took out Hussein seem childish about your denial.

which is why these conversations on SC rarely come up with anything reasonable, other than polarized factions slandering one another.

I hate what the Dems did as much as I hate what the GOP did. To be a witness to a crime and not prosecute it means that the witness is also a criminal!

screw Pelosi and that mealy mouthed Reid

yes, I think sharia law will be put down by the women of that country, they are in the streets today in Iran screaming for change! more women voted in Iran than men....give them a little time to put their own nation in order. My prayers have been with those women as well as the woman in Myanmar who is on trial. I do not see the United States as the worlds Big Brother and all those so-called "conservatives" who want the US to be the worlds police while they also are screaming for LESS GOVERNMENT are simply hypocrites!
  • javadewd said on Jun 12, 2009....
No, that title has now passed on to China... The USA is now considered the #2 world leader thanks to BO's whiny apologies. Conservatives have been telling the UN to go to hell since it started because every time some piss-ant little country gets a runny nose, we're there giving them food, money and military aid!
  • andora said on Jun 12, 2009....
your welcome, one without honor, go ahead and scream about the poor women in Iran as you say demeaning things to the only woman commentor on this blog ;(

you and bush didn't care about the women in the middle east one bit, your false concern was depicted quite well when bush started looking under the furniture for Weapons of Mass Destruction at the White House. maybe you thought that was funny, but the millions of displaced middle easterners think of him as their personal hitler. If you and people like bush are so very concerned about women, then maybe they could check out what US multi-national corporations are doing to the women in Mexico, but u and the other hypocrites don't even bat an eye over local attrocities! just looking for a reason to take....then u and others like u crow about how great the USA is!

self interest posing as concern for the weak among us....what a joke
  • javadewd said on Jun 12, 2009....
Yes, Bush had no concern for women, that's why we sent Africa tons of aid (food, money and military) to stop the raids that were causing women to lose their breasts by Muslim extremists... No, wait, maybe it was when Iraqi women finally got the right to vote... Or was it Laura Bush's efforts for women around the world including Afghanistan and Pakistan?

Crow crow crow! Walking dead, coming through... Make a path!!!

yess I am capable of loving and hating simultaneously -- surprising

the word illuminati makes much sense to me doortoinsanity, I understand the evolution of the white race, of which I am part of. I understand how the white race came to be in the position of initiating technological advantages, I understand the controlling class as more than just a shadowy enigma. I have educated myself to the point that these conversations are getting to be a waste of my time and effort...yes, this may sound arrogant, so

    I will say this tho,

as a result of becoming aware of the overcontrol of the masses, I have come to realize that the conspiracy isn't being pulled off by those in power...

the real conspiracy is founded upon the lack of education that comes from hopelessness. Apathy is the real culprit -

as for those who don't understand my words - i don't really concern myself with willful ignorance after all -

for those who wish to simply codefy information that does not mesh with thier world view as conspiracy theories, this is what the apathetic and undeducated do in a conversation -- kill it with stupidity -- then call it a conspiracy theory.

I guess the overthrow of Lehman Brothers by Golman Sachs and the taxpayer handout to Hank Paulson that ripped off an entire generation of hard earned retirement funds is just a spoof, not real right? just another baseless conspiracy theory. those who refuse to learn history are, of course, doomed to repeat it!

  • javadewd said on Jun 13, 2009....
Back in college I got all caught up in the theory of the illuminati, but it all led to dead ends. Maybe somebody like kevinunknown will use his journalism skills to uncover the enlightened... Who knows? It became a rabbit hole that proved too deep for me.
  • kevinunknown said on Jun 14, 2009....

Andora—for someone who claims to be as well educated as yourself I find your strong belief in the illuminate rather confusing.

I have done some reading into the illuminate and found numerous problems with the theory. the big one for me though is that this organisation would have to be so big and far reaching it would be impossible to keep the secret for the hundreds of years most mainstream illuminate beliers would tell us they have been about for. Also so much disinformation regarding the illuminate makes it challenging to develop rounded idea of what the illuminate is.

Andora if you wish to turn this in to an academic argument then I would suggest you read Alexander Wendt’s essay entitled “Why a World State is Inevitable”. That is an argument that I support and I do belief that within the next hundred years we may see a Global government. I think that this may already be seeing the start of it with the rise of the EU and I have even noticed that the CIA world factbook has it noted as a separate state.  If you bother to look into the politics of the EU you may come to a similar conclusion that it is soon going to become a federal state.

PS—it’s unfortunate that there is not copyright protection available through soulcast to prevent people stealing form books and other websites. “for those who wish to simply codefy information that does not mesh with thier world view as conspiracy theories, this is what the apathetic and undeducated do in a conversation -- kill it with stupidity -- then call it a conspiracy theory.” I am sour that’s a quote from David Ike, I have defiantly read it somewhere before

  • andora said on Jun 14, 2009....
that was off the top of my head

    i asure you i do not need to steal ideas, i have way too many to begin with ;}

I am not impressed with David Ike and I find his work to be complicit with the "ruling-class" or "illuminati"....The FACT is there is a minority (5% at best) that own what is considered the Free Trade system. We leverage our daily bread from this beast in the "free world"

my understanding of the class divide and the illusion of freedom comes from my personal focus upon the ENERGETICS that pervade the illusion the masses contribute to

these energetic patterns rob personality of Free Will and force many to believe in fate, or an authority that knows better than the individual what is best for the individual. I have no problem with this because the masses are willess and need a big daddy - due to the fact that few have the type of self-respect that leads one to self-trust. Trust is no where to be found today simply because the masses are willess and so guilt ridden they are more invested in death than they are life -

thus the result is an unsustainable and crime ridden group that is what it is

not much of a conspiracy really....just the willess being led by the conspicuous lowest of the low

  • javadewd said on Jun 14, 2009....
