  Wow, I skimmed over that and it was pretty shocking to read.  Not that I doubt this sort of thing happens or goes on, knowing how things are in those countries ... but I'm also wondering how reputable is the source?  I noticed seemingly a lot of grammatical errors throughout what I did read.

  i saw a documentary that was filmed in iran.  a girl wanted to go to a soccer game.  girls are not allowed at soccer games in iran.  she dressed up as a boy and tried to sneak in.  she was caught.  there were half a dozen girls doing the same thing.  they were all arrested, but ended up being sent back home to their parents, presumably to be punished by their own parents.
  
  the film gave me the impression, which i have also gotten from other sources, that the iranian people are not generally the nut jobs we are used to associating with that country.  the iranian people are more light hearted and feel oppressed by the hard core assholes that have taken over their country.
  
  in other words, maybe more than half the people in iran think their leaders are a crock of shit but they don't or can't do anything about it.
  
  one thing is for sure.  the nation of iran, as it is today, is a real piece of garbage.  for all my complaining about special interests influencing american congressmen to the detriment of the american people, which happens to be true and a damn shame, america is heaven next to that shithole.
  
  i'd rather have my crooked congressmen give billions of dollars to fatcat bankers out of our tax withholdings than live in iran.

  In all seriousness though, if these laws are found within the Koran, that's a disgrace to God.  God created both male and female.  He loves them equally.  That's as bad as that book I read about the Saudi Arabian princess that didn't want what she was handed.  God punishes injustice on his own time, so why do you think we are at war with nothing but muslim countries?  Their beliefs in these uneducated countries are demented.

  The saddist thing of all is that the Koran does not condone these things at all.  The Koran is the closest thing to our Bible you will find it is just that they believe further prophets came after Jesus. 
  
  Sharia law is also a marvellous law in this country that so many Muslim women are proud to know as their law.  I have watched it in action and have been proud to know it takes place in my country. There are Sharia law panels with men and women on that come down on the side of the woman too!  Law is the law on these panels.  If a man is disrespectful, not paying his way or harmful to the woman and her children then the panel will come down harshly against him. Divorces are granted also.  This is how Sharia law and the Koran is IN REAL!  Unfortunately, as mixed here has pointed out, in many Eastern countries, there are barbarians that believe they can rule a land with fear and try to pass it off as their law by God!  Thank goodness I have real Pakistani friends whom I learned the reality of the real beauty of their religion.  You see, these bastards only use their religion as a weapon.  Just remember though, they believe they are going to a paradise when they die as their forefathers told them lol!  When they get to hell, aren't they going to have a bloody shock!!

One, I thought about the Iran woman who is constantly disrespected, but if that not how the Koran operates. You know like it says men rule and I bet this is law that man has made.   I would like to hear what it is that people have actually read in the real Koran.  First page to last page.  Now I won't pretend I have read it cover to cover but I sure looked at a lot of it with my friend, Zainab.  What the western world has begun to perceive as the Koran is mainly propaganda.  When men rape women in the name of religion, it is WRONG.  When anyone is brutal to another in the name of religion, it is WRONG.  The thing is , I am not saying it is right, I am saying that the REAL Koran and Sharia laws do not condone these acts.  It is the men that dare to PRETEND and tell everyone that this is their law that are the bastards who need reigning in.
  
  The poor young woman who was raped by her step-father?  I would like to kill him - yes.  Thing is, women here in our so called Christian civilized society are raped by their step-fathers, uncles, fathers, teachers need i go on?  The only difference is some men dare to pretend their religion will condone and protect them.
