This is my first post and thought I'd start out with something exciting: Oktoberfest. That's right - next week I'm heading off to see the sights of Munich and taste all the lovely beer that Germany's great beer halls have to offer. I'm meeting a mate of mine over there which should be fun. I haven't actually seen him in about 2 years as he lives on the other side of the world so we could get into to some serious trouble.

The plan is to basically hit the beer halls for the opening weekend ... travel off to Austria and visit some of the castles and concentration camps before heading back to Munich for some more mayham. I can't wait although I'm a bit concerned for my poor little old brain. Its already suffered at the hands of the evil alcohol devil ... I think I'll give up when I get back.

Then again, I say that all the time!
