The page you were looking for no longer exists

I remember my first serious relationship with a malay muslim guy. He was working in a pub that I used to frequent as a waiter. He had long hair at that time. He looked so handsome with the long hair even though he was a wee bit of the slim side and had crooked front teeth. We were together for two years. When he started studying and I started working, I kinda met someone from my working place. He was a year younger than me but age doensn't matter right, as long as he's matured. He was a tall guy too, at least one head higher than me! Do you think I'm cruel for dumping someone for someone else? I have been doing that all my life. Well I think we just need someone who is much better for us right? Do you agree?
I converted to Islam at this point but not because of anyone but because I was actually very interested in the religion. My mum had lung cancer at that time and I don't know why I just had that urge to convert at that very moment. my mum passed away a month after that. Maybe it's just a sign or lesson for me to understand. :-(
Anyway, lets continue with my love life...
I was with the current guy for about three years but than something happened. You know, I was in a gameshow (the Malaysian version of Wheel of Fortune) and won some cash and holiday vouchers. To cut the story short, they still owed me one holiday and it was already a year. So they replaced it with another holiday voucher. One of the vouchers was to Perhentian Island. Have anyone been there? That was the first time I went there and I totally fell in love with the place! My voucher was only for 3 days 2 nights but I really had the urge to go back again and so I did. I went back just after a few days. That was when I met my husband....
It's funny that I actually didn't miss my boyfriend at all at that time. Didn't want to think about about him at all! I'm sure you all had had that feeling that you miss your partner if they're not around right?! I felt something was not right. At that time I met my husband. He didn't talk much though when we first met, his friends were the one chatting me up. We exchanged phone numbers after that as they were going home that very day. He messaged me and called me that very night and we communicated the whole week!! And you know what? He proposed that same week on the phone! Unbelievable ain't it?! We are happily married now with two cute boys. But in the beginning we always quarelled. But as time passes by we grow to love each other more even with the quarrels.
Anyone out there had similar experiences like me?

Interesting! How old are you? I think you are in love, and now it's ok. But you must be strong and be prepared for all sorts of trials and tribulations, and hope your husband do not meet a "Siti Nurhaliza"?? Take Care!
    Are you still working?

yes, we have a person that God wills for all of us.
one where our relationship can give Him glory.

hi sus!!!:-) fancy seeing you here...:-)

Yes, I am everywhere! Maybe HE wants me to spread around, and create chaos? hohohohoh
How come you are here? You know, having fallen in love, getting married, get 'crazy' over a pinay, got her knock some sense into me, I sometimes worry that our young girls are mistaking boredom for love, kindness, affection, and all that crap. And 90% of the men you meet in bars are the "hit and run" types, grabe!
We had in Malaysia recently, some rich guy married happily for >20 years with 4 teenager kids and a growing business, suddenly dumped his lovely wife for a pretty singer.... You know, man's need to 'capture trophies'! At least I had the sense to realise that my family is worth more than even the kindest Pinay that I have ever met......... Cheers

Susmaryosep - I'm 30 already. With two young boys. Yup, I'm still working, can't really be a housewife yet since there's still too many bills to pay. :-p
Don't remind me of 'Siti' please! Her wedding photo's and 'Live telecast' really makes me sick!!
    Are you a Malaysian?

Aww thats quite sweet! Well I have gone to perhentian island before....quite not much of activities as I still 12 and Im with my parents....Anyway....Dr K is like sick...dumping his wife for siti..maybe after 10 to 20 yrs...he will divorce and marry someone else...haha!!
  • elia_ann said on Sep 11, 2006....
Zul - I totally agree with you. Everyone can see that Dr. K divorced his wife for her but she's too stupid to see that!! I think her popularity had gone to her head. Now everyone says she married him for the 'Datin' title! Well, I think it's true.
Perhentian Island is so beautiful! I fell in love with the place the first time I step foot on that ISland! The blue sea and white sand.....How not to fall in love!!
    :-)
You're only 12 at the moment??

You are in the prime of life, and I hope you will be very happy with your family. It's better for you to continue working, as you do not know the future, and in Malaysia, the politicians are screwing the economy up, just like the filipino politicians, are doing for their country :-)
Yes I am Malaysian, and I am so glad, that I am not the only one who gets sick by the Siti and Dato K. He can claim his "prize" and if she think she can tie him down, she's stupid! Just watch the fun..... Zul, you are 12, but you really are smart, and calling Dato K sick is a good way of describing him. ! I am glad you can see though the 'shit' that Siti has woven around that affair!!!

    Sus,
I have to continue working anyway cauze even both of us working now also not enough. I won't be quitting so soon unless I become a millionaire!!
    :-)
I also plan to have more kids. So more kids mean more money!!! Aiming to get a girl soon!!
    :-p

    Chingform,
Any shortcut I can call you with?
Need to ask first in case I just use any short names and offend you.
    :-)

The time I meet my husband I actually went to Perhentian alone. Maybe you should do that and you might get the romantic holiday experience!!

But I think now you might as well have that romantic getaway with your hubby since you're already married. You are right?!?!
I think I read in one of your blogs mentioning your hubby. Or was it someone else's blog!?!?!
    :-p hehe!
