If I could work at home every day, I completely would.  Maybe I should set myself up a little more extensively in the electronics department and perhaps I could ... but to spend all of that money on a chance ... naaaahhh, but it's nice to dream about.  As it is now, this is nice, I'm sitting here working, fleeting around these SC hallways here and there, drinking a cup of hot tea, feeling the rain dampened breeze coming in the window, listening to the rain as well as the quiet murmur of the TV and I'm all at my own pace.  I'm getting things done so I won't be behind, and yet I'm comfortable doing so, not holding those feelings of just wanting to run screaming out of anyplace.

Nothing else much going, since I've been working and last night not a lot else went on.  Probably soon I'll call it a day on work as I'm almost done with the major task that was turning my stomach.  The other project that I was given last minute, for Thursday, is pending somebody else's remarks so until I get an email back, I'll have no way of knowing what to do there.  So, since not much else is going on, I'm going to ask a few questions of you all (my answers to follow in the first comment) ...

  1. What theme would YOUR perfect fairy tale have? (i.e. medieval, stone age, modern age, futuristic, romantic, tragic, action, etc.)
  2. Jello or Pudding?
  3. Would you rather be master chef and cook everything yourself, knowing it will be fantastic, or be able to order out for EVERY meal (pretending it's a perfect world and that you'd have the time and resources needed to cook your meals and enjoy or be able to afford to order out)?
  4. What's your favorite form of communication(in person, snail mail, email, telephone, etc.)?
  5. Pretend you're in a beautiful, vibrant field full of lush grass with a gentle breeze blowing.  The temperature is perfect to your liking, there is a gentle crystal blue stream flowing past you.  There is a forest off in the distance with beautiful tall full leaved trees.  You're standing there with your eyes closed.  What is the first thing that would suddenly appear and you would see when you open your eyes?

    1. What theme would YOUR perfect fairy tale have? (i.e. medieval, stone age, modern age, futuristic, romantic, tragic, action, etc.)  I'd probably put myself in medieval ages just purely because of the equine travel methods, and I'd probably have a mixture of romance and adventure.
    2. Jello or Pudding?  Jello
    3. Would you rather be master chef and cook everything yourself, knowing it will be fantastic, or be able to order out for EVERY meal (pretending it's a perfect world and that you'd have the time and resources needed to cook your meals and enjoy or be able to afford to order out)?  I'd love to be able to cook everything myself and know it was going to be mouthwatering and enjoyed every time.
    4. What's your favorite form of communication(in person, snail mail, email, telephone, etc.)?  I'd like to say it would be by either snail mail or email.  To me it's exciting to get a letter because it shows the time was taken to sit down and write it out and send it to me.  Also it's more convenient if the distance is far and timing is never quite right.  Email is similar just with a little less work I suppose.
A herd of the most beautiful horses I've ever seen drinking from that stream, off a little ways from those drinking would be this spring's foals frolicking and playing.  Of course I'd want to join in and instead of running away in terror they would actually let me join in, chasing them, petting them, and being playful.

    1. What theme would YOUR perfect fairy tale have? (i.e. medieval, stone age, modern age, futuristic, romantic, tragic, action, etc.) action baby! I'd have to be the kickass chick with a hot bod. The Rock, LL COOL J, Vin Diesel would be my partners in crime. We'd be good guys doing dirty deeds. I'd have to have a hint of romance in it with Matthew Mcwhatshisname, Hugh Jackman, Ashton Kutcher, Viggo M, and a few other hotties all after me. Yes, a little self-centered but I'd like to think some guys want me.
    2. Jello or Pudding? ummm if i have to pick one i guess jello.
    3. Would you rather be master chef and cook everything yourself, knowing it will be fantastic, or be able to order out for EVERY meal (pretending it's a perfect world and that you'd have the time and resources needed to cook your meals and enjoy or be able to afford to order out)? order out baby. I hate cooking and the clean up is even worse.
    4. What's your favorite form of communication(in person, snail mail, email, telephone, etc.)? nothing beats in person.
What is the first thing that would suddenly appear and you would see when you open your eyes? a lounge chair with a little table next to it. on the table would be a mojito, a margarita, some strawberries, and a fashion magazine.

Interesting answers, lol ... and am I the only one who wants to cook for myself?  Hey if I know I'm gonna have the time and enjoy it, I'll spend a little time cleaning up.

Queenie - Darn it, wish it hadn't cut your comment off!  Heh, yeah, I like the Harry Potter lifestyle too.

Bozo - All right, so if you have to have both jello and pudding, do you mix them together?  That'd be a pretty impressive back yard too.

Yes I would mix certain jelos and pudding together. Unless it was a choclate mud cake....that has to be eaten alone :)
  • hotaka said on May 27, 2009....
I would like to choose medieval coz, you know, it suits fairy tales but to be realistic I think mine would be outdoors.

Pudding. It's been so many years since I had a good chocolate pudding with sprinkles.

Actually, I really enjoy cooking for me and my wife. I'd like to have a few more ideas to make dinners even better. But I get good reviews from my wife. So that's encouraging.

These days it's mostly email. Letters are nice but I tend to store them. when I left Japan in 2004 I found I had kept all letters I had received from 1999. Face to face is good but I have almost no chance to meet anyone of my friends, even those that live here in Japan. So it's email.

    A dragonfly!
  • Hegemone said on May 27, 2009....
Scipio - Ah, another cooker.  That butterfly or dragon fly would make it so peaceful!

Bozo - I know what you mean, lol.  Some things just have to be left alone.

Hot - You know, this is strange, I've never put sprinkles on my pudding ... and I've never had the idea to and can't think of why.  Sprinkles would be awesome with pudding!  Understandable about the letters, I tend to do the same thing, the ever lasting sentimentalist that I can tend to be sometimes.

    1. What theme would YOUR perfect fairy tale have? (i.e. medieval, stone age, modern age, futuristic, romantic, tragic, action, etc.).. Romantic.. ofcourse!!  :-)
    2. Jello or Pudding? Pudding.. chocolate pudding!!
    3. Would you rather be master chef and cook everything yourself, knowing it will be fantastic, or be able to order out for EVERY meal (pretending it's a perfect world and that you'd have the time and resources needed to cook your meals and enjoy or be able to afford to order out)? If I could learn to cook everything exactly like my mom.. I'd have my wish.. she's the best chef I know and I've got her on speed dial.. so I'm set! :-)
    4. What's your favorite form of communication(in person, snail mail, email, telephone, etc.)? In preson for sure..
    5. • moonriver said on May 27, 2009....
    1. Fairy tale theme? I rather like Spider-Man. Is that theme medieval or stone-age?
    2. Jello or pudding? Both, mixed together in a blender. I'm sure that's stone age.
    3. Chef or order meals? Master chef on MWF, order meals on TThS. Sunday I eat out of cans. But that's only in a perfect world.
    4. Fave communication? Eyes and touch ;-) and chocolate too, in the right orifices!
    5. You're in a field of grass, breeze, stream, forest, eyes closed. What appears when you open your eyes? OMG! My Spider-Man mask! Somebody returned it!

  • Hegemone said on May 27, 2009....
Moon - Lol, medieval spider man.  A mix of cooking and ordering, not bad.  So, do you cook in your spider man mask?
  • moonriver said on May 27, 2009....
