CHICAGO -- A judge has set bail at $2 million for an off-duty Chicago police officer facing reckless homicide, DUI and hit-and-run charges after allegedly striking and killing a boy riding his bicycle.
Richard Bolling is accused of killing 13-year-old Trenton Booker about 1:30 a.m. Friday while driving the replica watches wrong way on a one-way street on the city's South Side.
Relatives say the teen sneaked out with friends after going to bed.
Bolling remains jailed and is due in court Tuesday. The Cartier watches 39-year-old officer has been relieved of his police powers and is under internal investigation.
