I am really starting to hate this laptop I have now. Every time I think I'm getting somewhere with the internet, it closes the page all by itself and an error message pops up. It already happened dozen of times today, I'm sure. Next month, I am hoping to be able to buy a new laptop. This one isn't even mine (which, okay, good thing). It belongs to a state university, really, to a program for disabled high school and college students. I'm in neither, having gotten my BA in English (which helps explain my obsessions with reading and writing), but people can stay in the program as long as they want, given they check and respond to their (ever-accummulating) email at least once a week.
I say that it's a good thing that this laptop isn't really mine for three big reasons. 1) it has been damaged by a lamplight so there's a hole in it (my brother put tape over the "wound" so it'd be halfway functional. HA). 2) The "F" key cover has come loose, so I get my finger poked by the key spring (is that the right word? I don't know.) every time I go to use that particular letter. And 3) it is extremely dirty inside. I am sure there's more things wrong with it. I just choose to ignore what problems I can't see - because that way, they don't exist for me. Get it? LOL.
See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. That's my philosophy for the whole bloody thing, as the English would say...
