Our Wedding is on the 20th June 2009, that is the day we will have a ceremony, take our vows, exchange rings, and celebrate with family and friends.
But Today 20th May 2009, is the day we got married :-)
We stayed up late last night having our own little hen party/stag doo :-) we realized at about 2am that we we're really getting married in the morning!!
After a few hours sleep, we got up, rushed around getting the kids ready for school, (Dauntless did most of the getting the kids ready whilst I got me ready) then we drove over to my parents and met my brother and sister in law there.
The four of us, set off for the registrar office, laughing and joking on the way there, I was so excited I could burst :-) I felt like a toddler discovering something for the first time, a naughty teenager both at the same time! :-)
In a small office, with only our witnesses (my brother and his wife) and the registrar and certificate writer, we became husband and wife in the eyes of the law.
We celebrated with southern comfort and a good old english breakfast at the pub a few doors down from the registrar office, and then dauntless and I, boarded the train to Blackpool.
We spent the day wandering around, ate ice cream, walked along the seafront, (I tried to walk on a wall and landed flat on my front sending my ice cream flying!! lol)
We booked a room for the night even though we were only in Blackpool till early evening ;-) :-D ** wink wink say no more ** :-D
We played in the arcade, walked along the pier, we both had a palm reading, (both really accurate! but thats another post :-) we sat in a corner cafe and ate fish and chips, we drank shots in a bar before heading back home on the train :-)
We bought a bottle of baileys on the way home and continued the celebrations with a take away and baileys.. it's all a bit blurred after that :-D
I got married today, to the man who fills all my hearts deepest desires, my soulmate, my best friend, my partner in crime, my perfect,my husband :-) and had the most perfect day any lady could wish for :-)
