My experience in the game FFXI
I expected my first encounter with a monster to be rather easy, and I was not disappointed. What I did not expect was how downright silly it looked. A slarm looks remarkably like a green kiss, only it is wiggly and hops around. I stifled my giggles and started slingshot at it. My young son wanders by, stops to look, and ask that why you are fighting jumping lilies. The slarm has no FFXI Gil before I know it I have ten slarm scalps on my belt, and I am running back to the battle professor. He promptly sends me on my next quest to get FFXI gold. Water elves look like big blobs of water with eyes and a mouth. My son informs me that there monsters are too cute to kill. I discover that when I shoot one it dissolve into a lovely pool of water. I am happily shooting away when I water elf with a crown floats by. Gleefully I shoot him. He is a water lord. And I am toast. My son rolls his eyes in disgust at me and walks off. He said I have to play long time to kill the monster. I lost much Final Fantasy XI gold this time. It was a pity for me.
It was lucky that I am an angel and I can not die, or at least not for long. I show up in the game again, ready to do battle. This time I return, fight my fifteen water elves, and return victorious to the battle professor. I went out confidently on my third and final quest for the battle professor. I quickly discover a group of earth elves. They look like with smiley faces there.
