Jo-Jo......again...that window....it kills me with nostalgia anytime i see a window like that one ...one you can lean over and look outside.....i see lots of trees too..
Your pretty flower is blooming so lovely in her lovely dress...:-)
Bellissima (((((((((warm embrace))))))))) I will be posting images from our visit in Keuekenhof, which I promised in my A paper ~ Preview Post <3
in the next evenings... you will love the beauty captured by my amateur photographer´s eye! lol :)
AND then I will make a series of posts of our walks around the village here, dearest friend just for you :) because you appreciate the simple pleasures life offers :) . . .
I never imagined, a city born person such as I, who has always lived in big cities would love, and almost embrace life in a village. (*giggle* well, Amsterdam is 20 minutes away, if I ever want to be thrown to the frenzy of the city!)
Welterusten (good night, as the Dutch will say it :) ) en slaap lekker (sleep well) liefste Gingery
WOW shes so cute......They grow up fast hey. Will not be long before you have to sit next to the front door with a shotgun to chase away those pesky boys :)
CreativeWoman ~ Thank you so much, CDub <3 . :) This is one of the reason I wanted to archive this image. I wanted to mark a milestone.
the_infernal_optimist ~Thank you very much, infernally <3. I take example in your graciousness and generosity in sharing your joy too. You give me courage to do the same :) ... and sharing happiness makes it multiply even more.. :)
uniquely-ironic ~ Thank you, uni <3! Yes, I love the second pose too! Her confidence has blossomed since we have moved here (I need a very long blog to elaborate on this, lol) in the Netherlands.
superbozo ~ hahahahaha, the image you put into my head is priceless hahaha. Yes, they do grow up soooo fast, that is why I try to preserve images to grasp the rushing beautiful moments. :) Thank you for always showing interest in our life new life in the Netherlands. Your positive support means a lot.
I had the comment box open for hours (I keep getting interrupted, lol.. a busy household, as you might guess!) and did not "see" you until I posted.
Jillian will be turning 10 this fall, and typing the number 10, makes me feel pinpricks in my heart... 10 years of being a mom to this wonderful little lady...
Middle daughter Kim, 6 years old turning 7 this summer is actually the model poser in the family, lol. Jillian is usually very very reserved and cannot be bothered with pictures being taken; she usually hides herself behind a book when I want to make a picture of her, lol.
Our new life not only changed our situation positively but it realised the potential that I knew she had... all the years of struggle, this image is my reward :)
We love this old globe! Piet bought it for his kids as they were still little. Now we are using it to learn all the Dutch names for different countries of the world.
Hegemone ~ Tankieeeeeeeeees, Heggies <3! Piet and I have been watching her with fascination for the last couple of months how she is conscious of how her hair is styled, or how carefully she puts her clothes together. As I have mentioned above, she has also become uninhibited with being photographed, even asking for her picture to be taken. She was so lovely yesterday, so happy, so relaxed, and so excited to see Piet´s son (he is very loving to his "new" sisters :) ), that I just had to take her picture and preserve the moment.... :_ )
Lucytorial ~ taaaaaaaaaankies, your Juiciness! *muaaaaaaaaaah* We bought the gorgeous piece of clothing, lol in Berlin 3 years ago! Jilly has a hard time letting go of her clothes before, now she is much much more relax in letting her younger sisters have her old clothes. But yeah sometimes a dress becomes a top because she still wants to keep it! hahaha
cntlvmenuf ~ taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks, cntlvmenuf :)! *muaaaaah* I am encouraging them to nurture their dreams, and make them confident that nothing is impossible if they work hard, have faith and believe. But most importantly appreciate all simple joys life has to offer because satisfaction in the little things makes way for the bigger joys :).
It makes me happy to see you in my blogs. I hope when things eases up a bit here I could reciprocated the support you have been showing me. ((((((((huggies)))))))))
diabolicdame ~ taaaaaaaaaaaankies, dia :)! *muaaaaaaaaaah*
It just brings me so much happiness to see how relax, how confident she is overall, how loving she is to her sisters, and how generously she showers them with her attention.
I promised Gingery with images of our walks in the village. I promise you a tour of our very small home, but cosy, and full of laughter - just like my heart´s wish. :)
queenparanoia ~ absolutely, kapatid! we are continuously amazed every day how she is growing in all sense of the word :) . . . ang bilis ng panahon! (time passes so quickly!)
woman ~ Thank you so very much, woman :)! *muaaaaaaah*
Your words feeds my mother´s soul :) . I am indeed very grateful for the angel(s) I am blessed with. I show my gratefulness in sharing my joy. :)
fragglesrock ~ taaaaaaaaaankies, fraggylicious :) !!! I will take one or both of your stinky boys anytime hahahahahahah... I remember you mentioning your eldest playing in a band! Piet´s son (I will post the youtube in a minute :D ) plays his guitar for me whenever he visits, warms my momma´s heart!!! They could do some jammin, while Mary sings (I will post the youtube in a minute too, lol ;) ).
travlr712 ~ Thank you! :) Yes, queenparanoia´s sister is very cute indeed.
