This is the first thing that comes into my mind when we talk about the economic situation in the Philippines. I might sound very old talking about this but, it all affects us in one way or another.

In the Philippines, most employers use the financial crisis as an excuse to fire employees. We have strict laws here governing employee-employer relationship and with this crisis that is taking over the world, employers now have an excuse to lessen their overhead charges.

For me, that is a bit unethical but, what can we do, right?

Is the Philippines really affected? I don't think so. How can you fall further when you are at your furthest? This is one of the few advantages of being a third world country -- While everyone stumble and fall, you just trip a little.

Here is a tip for all (or most) employees, career persons and alike out there:

POST YOUR RESUMES TO GATHER ALL THE OPPORTUNITIES YOU CAN BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

You ask me why? Because by the time you know that you are going to be laid off, it's going to be too late rushing and finding a new job to keep you alive (unless you are one of the few people who has unlimted atm machines at home. - dad? mom?)

For those who decide to post their resumes, keep reading. For those who doesn't want to, you may leave now (...and come back another day to read my other articles :) )

Post your resumes here > http://www.imumo.com

1 good reason (of several reasons you will find out soon enough why this site is a must-post)

YOU WOULD BE AUTOMATICALLY MATCHED TO THE JOB YOU ARE QUALIFIED. This will eliminate the time you would waste attending interviews just to find out that you are not qualified.

Just go there to know why I truly recommend it. Don't thank me, thank the creators of that site.
