LOTRO : Great Barrows Quest:
1.An Ancient Story Of Evil [Level 23]
Reward: 17 Silver, Anorchathol or Naerandir's Gauntlets or Svalfang's Fall. Fellowship Quest
VERY tough quest with many elites, so make sure you have a strong fellowship (1 minstrel, 1 guardian, 1 hunter, 1 captain is a good start)
Talk to Naerandir outside Bree's Prancing Pony Inn (29.6S, 51.3W)
Go to the SW corner of the Barrow Downs to find the Great Barrows and enter (33.8S, 55.8W)
Follow the paths while killing Elite Barrow Spiders
Watch for Queens dropping from the ceiling in the first open room
A bunch of Barrow Crawlers are next
Kill Grim Tomb Wights by some stairs and more elite Wights
Try to kill Wight Callers first since they can summon more enemies
Barrow Hounds and Barrow Wight Bowlords are next
Kill both sides of the stairs
The first boss is Thadur The Ravager
He spawns enemies at 75%, 50% and 25% morale
Try to use the blue Fellowship Attack to get back power as you fight
Loot him afterwards for the Right Half Of The Skull Key
Go back 2 more open rooms and up some new stairs through the skull door
Kill more bowman and head SW into another open room
Go S and SW past diseased plague rats
Head down some winding stairs as you kill a trio of bowmen
Next is W to big room with the next bosses, Gaerdring and Gaerthel
Gaerdring wakes up first so concentrate your attacks on him while someone attacks his drones
Repeat this for Gaerthel and loot Gaerdring to get the Left Half Of The Skull Key
You can just kill Gaerdring, quickly loot the key from his body and run, without killing Gaerthel if you want
Talk to Naerandir
2.Great Barrows Quest: Forging Anew [Level 23]
Reward: 8 Silver, 50 Copper, Skull Key. Fellowship Quest
Talk to Naerandir outside Bree's Prancing Pony Inn (29.6S, 51.3W)
Talk to Kenton Thistleway in W Bree (29.8S, 52.6W)
Talk to Naerandir
3.Great Barrows Quest: Evil's Final Chapter [Level 25]
Reward: 23 Silver, Isgor, Sambrog's Bane or Wight Guard or Sambrog Stompers.
VERY tough quest with many elites, so make sure you have a strong fellowship
Talk to Naerandir outside Bree's Prancing Pony Inn (29.6S, 51.3W)
Go to the SW corner of the Barrow Downs to find the Great Barrows and enter
Kill Accursed Fell-Spirits beyond the skull door at the W end of the great barrows
Kill Wights and Barrow Crawlers W to the open room, then go W and N at the fork
Sambrog has 14000 morale, but no minions, so attack with all you've got and use green/blue fellowship moves to help kill him
Talk to Naerandir
4.Great Barrows Quest: Collecting History [Level 23]
Reward: 13 Silver, 60 Copper, Urn Finder's Staff or Skunkwood's Coat or Leafcutter's Edge or Golugor. Fellowship Quest
Talk to Newbold Leafcutter in central Bree (30.4S, 51.7W)
Go to the SW corner of the Barrow Downs to find the Great Barrows and enter (33.8S, 55.8W)
Check "An Ancient Story Of Evil" quest below for directions as you take the Chalices from the alcoves
Talk to Newbold Leafcutter
5.Great Barrows Quest: Heading West [Level 24]
Reward: 16 Silver, Tirithol or Brecthann. Fellowship Quest
Talk to Aradia in Adso's Camp, W of Bree (29.4S, 56.6W)
Go to the SW corner of the Barrow Downs to find the Great Barrows and enter (33.8S, 55.8W)
Kill 15 Accused Fell-Spirits beyond the skull door at the W end
Talk to Aradia
